Situated in Wild Dunes, this attractive cottage for $363 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Relax like never before in our well-equipped and well-maintained marsh front cottage. Let the golf cart whisk you to the beachfront in 60 seconds, or cruise you around the resort to take in the scenery and wildlife. 2 Links Clubhouse Villas is an adorable cottage in the private gated beach front resort community of Wild Dunes. The villa overlooks a beautiful tidal marsh and is only a short five minute stroll (2 blocks) to the best beach area in the resort. For golfers, we are steps from The Links championship course, driving range and the putting/chipping green. #2 Links Clubhouse features an open airy floor plan with under house parking. The community is encircled by bicycle and walking paths, making it a perfect location for families to enjoy a relaxed but active vacation. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac of 8 duplex homes, and looks directly on a small private park equipped with lounge chairs and tables under the palms. The front entry boasts a large covered porch, just perfect for rocking away the afternoon. The floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances flowing into an open living and dining room. In addition to a full sized table, the kitchen counter offers seating for three. Comfy swivel rockers and a Pottery Barn couch create a comfortable place for conversation, games, watching the cable/Internet accessible TV, or reading. A sunroom with floor to ceiling windows looks out over the marsh and provides a comfortable place to curl up with a good book. The marsh is full of deer and shore birds that appear throughout the day, giving you a ringside seat to all the wildlife teeming in the tidal wetlands. The master bedroom has a king bed, full bath, and desk for guests needing workspace. The guest bedroom boasts two queen beds, a full bath with tub and shower combo, and ample closet space. Both bedrooms have TVs and ceiling fans. The third bedroom is an open loft area offering great sleeping space for two and its own half bathroom. It features two extra long twins, or, they can be made up together to create a king size bed. The loft's half bathroom also has a small closet area. A spiral staircase leads to the 2nd floor loft. The Links Clubhouse Cottage is elevated to take advantage of the marsh view and breeze and offers underneath parking for up to three cars. It also offers ample storage space and a gas grill. We offer beach chairs, kickboards, kids beach toys and an outdoor shower. It is less than a 5 minute walk or one minute golf cart ride to the beachfront. An electric golf cart is included and makes carrying chairs and coolers to the beach an easy 60 second trip. It also comes in handy for taking kids on nature tours to see the resident alligators, herons and deer. All sheets and towels included. We also have a full size washer and dryer. To enhance your comfort, there are ceiling fans in bedrooms, living room, sun room and front porch. To ensure fun is had by all, we provide plastic beach toys, beach chairs and towels. There is also a gas grill for those wanting to barbecue. This end of the island is very quiet. With the large garage there is plenty of room to store bicycles you might bring, luggage carriers, golf clubs, surfboards/paddleboards and more. This unit is very well maintained by the local owner who is also a real estate agent and property manager. In mid 2023 the kitchen was outfitted with new Calcutta quartz countertops, new marble subway backsplash, completely new paint inside and throughout the garage, and new HVAC system and a new water heater. Since covid the stucco exterior has been painted, porches repaired and painted, the parking lot was newly surfaced and guttered, new roofs were added and more. You will enjoy these well kept accommodations.

We had a wonderful week for our stay. The property manager was helpful and responsive. We loved the location and all of the amenities included. We would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

In the description of the property, one of the first things listed is GOLF CART. We had a golf cart for 2 days and it broke. My husband had to push it 1.5 miles back from the pool. The owner tried to get a replacement but it didnt work out. When you have 3 children under the age of 5 this is a huge problem. The owner did refund us $500 but this is no where near enough to make up for the hassle. The pool is DIRTY. Like frogs, worms in the actual pool dirty. We have rented from VRBO plenty of time and never have we had the owner on the property as many times as we had on this stay. The cable in the master was out. We told the owner it doesn't matter. They insisted on having the cable company come out not once but 2x. It was unbelievably intrusive. Especially since we had our dog with us. The 2nd time the cable company came out we told the owner that we would prefer that they not enter. The owner's husband told us that they needed to so "everything was ready for the next guests". Glad that they were worried about their comfort level because they sure weren't worried about ours. The air conditioning doesn't make it up to the 2nd floor. The queen beds are awful. You can feel every spring in the mattress. The bedrooms weren't clean either. I found an old razer under one of the beds. If you are looking for a turnkey stay this place is not for you. Would not recommend.

We had a golf cart and could ride it back and forth to our friends who live there. We didn’t think we would find a place so close for Thanksgiving! It was perfect for our needs. Wanted for nothing. Big enough and private for all 5 of us and our 2 pups! Steps from the golf course which was great as we played a round there. Wonderful experience. Everything we wanted and more. Would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our 2 dogs for a mostly tennis & beach filled vacation. We loved this townhome, perfect location. So quiet, so relaxing, great amenities, close to everything and their great golf cart was just the icing on the cake. The hostess was so helpful every step of our vacation and gave great restaurant advice too, all delicious! Very easy check in and out too!
Beautiful marsh view at back of home, we literally had several deer grazing there to greet us every morning. Such easy beach access, our dogs loved playing on the sand & waves! The beach is spectacular and so close that we usually just walked there. We will be back here many times in the future! Just a truly five star stay! Thank you for having us! Heather & Chuck

The property was exactly what the listing showed. Very roomy and had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked with a lot of cooking items and utensils. I would get an immediate response from the owner if we had any questions. There is a notebook that provides eating places and many more helpful items. Would definitely recommend this place. Oh and having a golf cart was excellent!

Cottage was perfect for us. Each of us -3 adults-had our own room and bathroom. Upstairs bathroom is half bath so my brother showered in the master bath. Spent early mornings having coffee on the porch. All neighbors were very nice and area was quiet. It was November so other times would most likely be busier. Cottage was clean and furniture was comfortable. WiFi and tv all worked well. We didn’t cook but seemed like good options of equipment if we had. We did use the Keurig coffee maker and blender for morning protein shakes daily. Owner was very responsive. We definitely would book again.

This is our 2nd summer staying at Julie’s townhome. Her home is comfortable and inviting. Fully stocked. Golf cart is wonderful to have going to and from the beach. Pool access too. Perfect location. You cannot beat Wild Dunes. And we got to bring our dog. We definitely will be renting again next summer!

This is our 2nd summer staying at Julie’s townhome. Her home is comfortable and inviting. Fully stocked. Golf cart is wonderful to have going to and from the beach. Pool access too. Perfect location. You cannot beat Wild Dunes. And we got to bring our dog. We definitely will be renting again next summer!
