There is a great kiddies rock pool, as well as a patrolled beach area with a surf club. Just off the beach is a fantastic kid’s playground, and plenty of cafes along the beach. By taking a flat 10-minute stroll from the patrolled area you will find yourself in the main street of Avoca with many more cafes, restaurants and boutique stores. You can even take in a movie at the heritage Avoca Beach Picture Theatre. Getting Around: Public transport Buses operate in this area, however, public transport options are limited. Check out the TripGo app for transport timetables. Ride sharing I highly recommend using ride-sharing service Uber. My weekend away with 2 friends was to be a celebration of turning 50 for the 3 of us this year. One of my friends had recently been seriously ill and was still in recovery mode. I chose this house as the pictures showed a plunge pool on the deck with an amazing view over the ocean. As our friend wouldn't be able to move around too much this was the perfect place. Except it wasn't. There was no plunge pool at all. The pictures of the property showing this were totally misleading. It was the main reason we chose it. We still had a lovely weekend - how could you not with those amazing views? But it was disappointing and despite one of my friends raising this as a complaint with the property management team - we've heard nothing back. The house and property also need a really good spring clean!

6 girlfriends had a great stay in this apt. Check in was easy, inside and outside dining options. The only fault was the inside couch. It’s so uncomfortable and doesn’t fit that many people comfortably. It’s outdoor furniture.

Shame there is a rising damp/ smell in the back bedrooms, no screens on windows .but still needed to have window open . Kitchen was not 'dressed ' very well..messy drawers and cupboards....questioning the level of care taken by cleaner. Otherwise we'll appointed and had a great time..thanks
