Situated in Folly Beach, this charming house for $545 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This large Southern style beach house is perfect for large families to gather only a block from the beach. The home lives large and sleeps at a total of 12 guests. Open living spaces inside and huge porches will make this a repeat destination for years to come. The home features 5 total bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Downstairs you will find 3 out of the 5 bedrooms, including the master suite with king size bed and spa bathroom. The remaining downstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom located in the hall. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are located upstairs, each with a queen bed and full bath attached. Upstairs also features a bonus room, large game room with foosball, air hockey, and TV to keep everyone entertained on the rare rainy day on Folly Beach. Game room includes two sleeper sofas with full beds. Amenities include free WIFI, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The outdoor living area has outdoor dining area and gas grill on the back of the house as well huge porch on the front of the house with rocking chairs. Kitchen comes fully stocked with all of the gadgets and tools even the most discerning family chef would require. Basic cable only. The home is a short walk to the beach and only 13 miles away from historic downtown Charleston. We do not rent to party groups and require a minimum age of 25 to rent. No smoking. Pet friendly with pet fee of $250 plus tax, per pet. Maximum of 2 pets allowed. Contact us with questions. We look forward to hosting you soon! The house was fine but it rained for 2 days during the Christmas break and the streets flooded near the house. This made it difficult to walk to the beach. Folly Beach really needs to address drainage and street flooding. I’m not sure we will be returning to Folly Beach because of this problem.

The house was very nice —had ample room for all our guests. Both porches were utilized every day and we appreciated having the large outdoor shower and area underneath the house. Very short walking distant to the beach and loved the proximity to the downtown area of Folly. Loved we were given the beach rental credit to use —our girls loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The weather was perfect too!

Great location. Kitchen huge. Lots of seating. Loved the activity room, puzzles and games. Some of the beds hard and master bath extremely cold in the winter. Wonderful place to stay to regroup with family and friends!

Nice big clean beach house
We had 10 people (4 parents, 6 teens). Check in was easy. Everything in the home is as in the pictures. The decor was nice with the crown molding and high ceilings, spacious, & we really enjoyed the concrete slab under the house & outdoor shower. The house has 2 fridges in the kitchen & ice trays in the main fridge. There is an over abundance of cover filters & salt and pepper. There was a starter set of dish and dishwasher soap and bars of soap in the bathrooms. The house had some books and games as well. We did use the $250 beach gear credit & rented 6 chairs, an umbrella, and 2 bikes. The couch needs to be replaced. It has a short back and deep seat cushions making it hard to be comfortable. We did have some minor annoyances that required communication from the property manager. The grass in the front was very long up to our ankles. We were intending to play yard games there. I let the property manager know & it didn’t get cut until Fri of our stay. When we rent houses, we look for homes that have air hockey tables, etc. Upon our arrival, the air for the air hockey table was not blowing forcefully to play the game. Also looking at the foosball table, the members in our group noted the bars were installed incorrectly. Unfortunately, we were unable to use these features. I did text the property manager & they said they told the owners, but it would not be taken care of during our stay. This needs to be noted in the listing for future renters. We also noted that there were only 4 regular size (not soup) spoons. I texted the property manager and they dropped off more soup spoons and not the smaller ones. They didn't reply when I shared pictures of this. The bed frames were installed incorrectly & we kept bumping our shins on the plate that connects to a headboard. The property manager replied to my text and they changed all the bed frames. The last thing we noticed on Wed of our stay was the water building up on the glass shelves of the main fridge. We kept noticing water but this time we saw it dripping. Again I texted the property manager with pictures on Wed & never heard back from them. Up until this point they had been responsive via text. The molding and doors need paint touch ups & laminate on cabinet doors is peeling. This town does not have sidewalks outside of downtown. It's busy on weekends with delays getting over bridge but quite otherwise weekdays . You have to walk in the street for beach but is 5 min walk

The smoke detector kept fully going off with no explanation and the ice maker was broken. We tried multiple times to report the issues and were assured that someone would come take a look at them and no one ever got in touch with us or checked on these items. Having a loud alarm go off especially at night was very annoying. Plus most of the beds at the house were absolute garbage, they should have been replaced years ago. It really impacts your ability to relax on a vacation when you can't sleep for an entire week due to the horrible beds (this was the case for people staying in 3 of the 5 rooms including the master bed). We will not be staying in this house again or renting a property with the same company.

Great Get away!
We had an amazing the Palms II! The house was big and the location was perfect for beach days at Folly Beach, just a short walk away. The house was a little hot when we arrived, but quickly cooled down when we arrived.

Carolina One staff was wonderful to handle a couple of glitches 4 us. But if you have people over age 70, or not in the best of health there are a LOT of steps to get into the house & to get upstairs. Will definitely consider coming back.

Fun at Folly
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach. The house was plenty big enough for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the game room upstairs and we had porch time at least once a day. The only issues we had were a shower door that was fixed by maintenance (thank you) and the upstairs air condition went out. This made for a very hot upstairs for a short time, but this was fixed and the air was restored. (Thank you!)

I must say the pictures did no justice. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the home. It was spacious, clean and had plenty of parking in the rear. I ordered beach chairs with the credit and they were already there when I arrived. Also that downstairs area was amazing. we had steamed crabs and with the picnic table under the house it made for a great outside eating station. Two thumbs up!

Palms 2 is wonderful
Family and I stayed at Palms 2 for a family reunion and had a great time. Kitchen is one of few that is spacious and fully functional, the little ones enjoyed the game room upstairs. The under house area and decks are great for time outdoors, lots of yard space for playing and parking, we used the grill and outdoor furniture daily. Tha outdoor shower area is great for rinsing off after time on the sand and cleaning up all your beach stuff, keeping sand out of our car. We all love the house and love Folly Beach. Memories will last forever, definately recommend.

Fantastic Property on Folly
We had a great time at Palms II on Folly Beach! The house was very spacious and had great entertaining areas for our multi-generational family. The outdoor living space was popular with gas grill. Quick walk to the beach and bike ride to center of town. We will be back!

Startled to say the Least
The home's location in Folly beach was great, plenty of room for our family of 6 and it was close to a lot of the places we wanted to visit but unfortunately the rental company did not live up to their end of the bargain. I have stayed in many lovely homes/condos etc. over the years and was always pleased with the property owners/rental companies being thoughtful and generous with their ability to provide for our stay. This company should preface every one of their property rentals with the information that the renter is responsible for all the necessities to stay there up front re: the lack of necessities like toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), cleaning supplies (2 rolls of paper towels), trash liners (2), dishwasher detergent (2). We had 6 in our party and had booked the property for 7 days, for what we paid I think all the above should have been provided. The bedding needs to be replaced, the living room furniture is dated and worn. The shower curtains in the upstairs showers were moldy and need to be replaced. We had to call the property company when we discovered that the lock on the front door was malfunctioning and allowed anyone to enter the property without a code while we were gone. The grill, which we did not use, was rusty and the front of it fell off during a rainstorm. Overall, this property could be great but it needs to be updated and day to day necessities need to be provided to make this a place to stay for vacation.

We were pleased with the rental experience, liked the location to the beach. plenty of room, but two things that need updating. 1. Dated appliances, all appliances need to updated and they need a much larger refrigerator for the size of the house. 2. The beds were very hard if you like that in a mattress.
