With two living areas and a second kitchen, Totem House is more than comfortable for 9 and makes it easy to invite family and friends to join you for relaxing fun at the beach. Downstairs the kids will flip for the fun filled bonus room with TV/DVD, an impressive DVD library and board game collection, a foosball table and lots of seating for family togetherness. The adjoining kitchenette can keep them happily supplied with snacks. Upstairs, a giant wooden totem oversees the living/dining room and points out to the amazing ocean view to the west. Views of Haystack Rock to the south and Tillamook Head to the north join up miles of sandy beach with the endless Pacific meeting the sky. You can cozy up to the electric fireplace and watch TV, enjoy a meal at the dining table or putter in the fully equipped kitchen. Or head out the sliding doors to the wrap-around deck with its built-in picnic table and walk a few feet to a trail through dune grass to the beach. Fantastic views and fantastic location! Took family and dogs for a weekend trip and everyone fit comfortably. Only note is that downstairs rooms are under the upstairs living room—tread lightly.

The house was right on the beach with great views. The 5 bedrooms easily accommodated our party of 7 adults. The house has a worn, comfortable vibe, and was clean and well appointed. The location felt remote, which provided the peace and quiet we were looking for.

The location can’t be beat. Right on the beach with easy access. The home is outdated and the beds feel old and you can feel the springs in some of them. In general there is a lot of room for some upgrades by the property owner. That being said, we would stay here again just for the beach view and access. We had a great time!
