He had fun relaxing on a somewhat stormy weekend watching NFL playoffs and catching some crab off the docks. Had fun at the salty dog too. They have very good clam chowder bowl and bloody Mary’s.

Great place to stay. Plenty of room for my dog and I. Unfortunately they don't have a fenced yard for the dog and the front yard is full of stickers 😕. Also, no local channels to watch football. Overall it is still a wonderful experience.

The Twain house was exactly as described. I was worried it would feel a little small, but it fit our group (4 adults, 2 children, and dog) very well. The house was clean and well stocked with basic amenities. We enjoyed our weekend exploring Waldport and Newport.

The house is so cute. It has everything you would need. It gets a little hot during the day but if you set up the provided fans at each end you can get it cool in no time. The beach is not far, just down the road and over a land bridge, where we saw a seal everytime we walked over! The town is small and not touristy like other places, which is what we like. Plenty of things to do in a short drive north or south! We would stay again!

We enjoyed staying at the house. It's a short walk to the beach. Nice selection of games and puzzles. Everything was clean. The lock box was a struggle at first. I suspect corrosion from the salty air. Took a minute to figure out the shower. If you're bringing a dog, there are stickers in the "yard". The hose bib at the front door is handy as well as the hose to the side. The oven works great. Bring spices and oil if you plan to cook. The house got warm. Box fans are in the master bath closet. The fees are high.

Excellent place in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay at the Twain House. It had all the amenities we expected, and was very comfortable. Beds were nice, bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was very functional. Really appreciated the extras there were on the property too. We were able to hose off from the beach, use the kids toys, and felt safe. We would definitely recommend this house for families that don't want to be worried about all the decor, and want to be able to relax, look out the windows at the beautiful bay, and be close (about 30mins in any direction) to tons of family fun activities.

The house was really nice, but the grounds weren't dog friendly. The refrigerator went out on us, and they didn't bring us a replacement, they brought us blocks of ice for freezer. Recycling was full from previous tenants. Other than that we had a great stay!

It was not very clean, dirty window sills, top of the fridge was filthy, and the carpets were covered in dog hair! There is no yard, no privacy outside of the house and doesn’t even have a fire pit for evening entertaining. When we first got to the property, there was a foul odor!! We had to open all doors and windows and air it out. Plus the WiFi did not work and I had to reboot it. The property management company was very responsive and picked up right when I called, a plus for them. We rent vacation rentals all the time, and we have never stayed at a house that didn’t even have basic supplies, like salt. This house is a dirty, bare bones, low income property that you will be very disappointed in if you are expecting a nice relaxing (clean house) vacation. My recommendation, don’t wait to long to book a house, and spend the extra $ so you can enjoy your vacation. And I have found that private owners will always have a nicer/cleaner more well stocked property than one ran by a property management company. Good luck!

Waldport Crabbing
The house was clean and nicely decorated. Having two bedrooms with their own bathroom was a big plus. The yard was pretty poor and there is a hotel right across the street which blocks half of the view. But the other half of the view was great...nice view of the harbor and the Waldport bridge. Located within a mile of the boat launch area which was perfect for our crabbing trip. Thanks for sharing your home.

Good value and location
This house is a very cute little house on Bayshore. It was cozy and a good size for our family of 4.
The location of the house was great! We were walking distance to public beach accesses for both the bay and the ocean (I do wish there was more information about things like that left in the house for renters so we didn't have to search for those-- Google told me we'd have to drive for beach access, but we found it on a walk around the neighborhood). Our one complaint was about the cleaning service- we found some old (used!) paper towels under the coffee table and some toys tucked into the couch, but that didn't affect our stay too much once we found them.
The garage was stacked with water toys, kites, sand toys, coolers, and chairs- they really made it easy for us to enjoy our time on the coast! They had a great selection of DVDs, books, puzzles, and games, and the smart TV made it easy for us to relax on windy/cold days. This place is not meant to be a luxury getaway, but it is a great value. The managing company was very responsive and really easy to get in touch with. We really enjoyed our stay!

Roomy accommodations.
It was very comfortable for 3 adults and three children since there were 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies. It could have used a few outdoor chairs so we could have sat on the deck in the evenings. But overall, very nice with a wonderful view of the Walport bridge. The pricing was economical for 6 people. would stay there again.

4th of July Beach Getaway
Property was very nice and clean. Super comfortable beds. The family had a great time. About a 20 minute drive to new port beach. It was a bit warm, so a nice cooling fan would have been nice. Definitely kept the windows open at night.

Charming home if you dont leave the area
Cute charming home in Waldport. Based on the info in the description, We thought we would be closer to Newport. The clubhouse allows renters to use the pool from 11-5 for $8 person which wasn't listed anywhere in the info.

The house is adorable and more than what we needed, space wise, essentially two master suites, great for two small families or couples to share the house. It has great natural light and is open and spacious. Was only there a couple days, and only used the kitchen to prepare breakfast, but it was well equipped. The notes said there were towels available for the dog - however i didn't see any, but I did have my own. The only other thing is, I wasn't sure where the beach access was on foot, so we ended up driving and exploring the neighborhood, which is an adorable space. The house is near town, so its a quick drive to pick up any food or supplies - super convenient. For future reference, it would be nice to have a channel guide for the Direct TV - there are almost 1,000 channels, but it took forever to find something that we had access to. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay here very much!

Stayed at Twain House for the holiday. I've stayed and a number of other homes in the area. This house was adequate for our needs. The sofas seem a tad dirty and worn and the house could have used a few more towels (for showers). But overall none of this hampered our stay. House is small but cozy. Love that bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house. Enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.
