We had a nice stay at the Franklin House Cottage. It was perfect for a 2 night December get away. Little chilly outside being December and on Lake Ontario but that is what added to the coziness. Cottage was relatively close to Niagara Falls, wineries etc. and is in the lovely Olcott Beach area. Home was very clean upon check-in and I would recommend to anyone.

Had a good stay
Couches were a bit beat, dirty and lumpy, but had to remember it is pet friendly. I don't allow my dog on furniture. Needed fly swatter. Tub and kitchen sink didn't drain well. Otherwise, everything was great.

Perfect fishing opportunity with Sweet Dreams Fishing Charters!
We run Charters out of Olcott marina so this was absolutely perfect . My family loved the stay and we look forward to coming back next year.
This is a beautiful updated cottage that you would not regret booking.
And give Sweet Dreams Fishing Charters a call while you are in town and enjoy a day out fishing for Salmon and Town of Olcott.

We were there to visit with family. Took this place because of its positive reviews, especially its cleanliness. Upon arrival we had to open all windows because of the heavy clorox smell, my thought was that the place was immaculately clean, however, the bathroom cool have used some scrubbing. The open areas were very clean and so was the kitchen area. Communication with property management is incredibly good, and take care of issues as soon as possible. The bedroom with the queen? Bed is a bit tight as it has another bed in it. Overall, it is allright, we probably will not stay here again, as we would prefer lake view..

We really enjoyed staying at The Franklin. We have visited Olcott for fishing in the past. This time was a lay over for us to go pick up a new standard poodle pup in Hillsdale which was 5 hrs away. The only thing we could possibly complain about is the speed of the traffic going by the cottage. Speed bumps would be helpful. I was surprised at how fast people were driving. And it was not the boaters. Otherwise the care takers were super friendly and I am sure of we would have had any needs they would have been willing to assist. We may try to come back in October for a fishing trip! Will definitely come back again! Thanks for the great hospitality!

I have been visiting Olcott for the past 5 years and this is THE cleanest, coziest property I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. It had everything we needed and the property owner was always available to answer my questions in a timely fashion. Two thumbs way up!

Just Like Home <3
My sweetheart and I stayed here and it was So nice. The place is clean, quiet, cozy and just made us feel at home. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Plenty of towels, etc. If we needed anything, all we had to do was call Kerry.
