About this house rental
Nestled in Leesville, this charming house for $500 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Family reunions, guys' getaways, special interest groups, corporate retreats, and bridal parties have all said “I do” to the seclusion, serenity and spaciousness of this 4+ bedroom waterfront home on fabulous Lake Murray. Wide open spaces both indoors and out present a variety of scenic settings for both togetherness and solitude. A vaulted great room, furnished screened porch, and breezy wrap around porches with rocking chairs welcome Uno players, lemonade sippers, and Kindle readers while the waterfront deck, fire pit, and gazebo present the perfect venues to watch the sunset and toast the day (plus a few marshmallows as well!) Kid- and Fido-friendly, parents love the bunk beds, ping pong and pool tables, and cornhole game plus the nearby quiet cove perfect for tubing and waterskiing. Foodies appreciate the well-appointed kitchen (with two additional refrigerators in the garage), anglers relish the bass-, bream- and catfish-filled waters, and daydreamers savor the 180-degree views of the lake. Nobody’s Business is located on the south side of Lake Murray near Acapulco Landing known for its great fishing. The house is rented by the week (7-day minimum) for the summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day) with a Friday changeover. The remainder of the year is rented by the day with a 2-day minimum. A $225 cleaning fee is added to all reservations. What’s to love: • Accommodates up to 14 people • Two main level masters, each with king bed and full bath • Two lower level bedrooms, each with queen bed, bunk beds and full bath • Huge sleeping loft with queen bed and reading nook • Two fireplaces • Ample gathering and seating spaces indoors and out • Outdoor fire pit by the lake, firewood included • Ping pong and pool tables • Cornhole • 50” plasma satellite Roku HDTV • High-speed Wi-Fi • Private boat dock • Wide steps from dock leading into the lake • Fish-willed waters • Propane grill • Two additional refrigerators in the garage • Kid- and pet-friendly ($100 nonrefundable pet fee) During the Summer of 2024, due to the cleaning schedule, reservations available Friday - Friday.

All the pluses of this big house have been noted by other reviews. I want to tell you 3 things to know in advance:
1) Upon arrival YOU MUST MAKE UP EVERY BED. We’ve rented vacation homes for 25 years, and this was a first.
2) Bring Ice (no ice maker)
3) Extremely Low water flow from Kitchen faucet, which I assume the owners know about and plan to fix.
We had a good time opening presents in front of the fireplace!

Wonderful home on the water with lots of space, amenities and views. Enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table inside and then the fire pit and dock outside. Even with the lake level very low, the dock had plenty of water for a boat to tie up.

We had a wonderful time at Nobody’s business. We rented the home for our sons wedding, the accommodations were perfect for our family. Each group had their own rooms and bathrooms. The house is even bigger than the photos depict. Due to weather we didn’t get to spend much time outdoors, but the dock, view and outdoors areas were great! The owner was also gracious enough to let us host the rehearsal dinner at the house. It made it very intimate and special! We can’t thank them enough!

Great time at "No Body's Business." Home was beautiful and the lake was even better. Only issue we faced was a drainage problem with the dishwasher which meant we had to hand-wash our items but the beauty of the lake more than made up for that minor inconvenience. Hope to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful time on the lake! The house layout was great for all the extended family. We never felt cramped or on top of each other. We love the location on the lake and the privacy of the property. The boat rental right down the street made it so easy to rent a boat for several days. The spacious dock area allowed easy access for afternoon floating. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our week long stay. Property and house spacious so that everyone had their own space when needed. Access to the lake had a lot of stairs for my older parents, but getting into/out of the lake was nice with the steps into the water. The kitchen was well equipped and accommodated all we needed for cooking/grilling/baking. It was a great week with lots of memories made!

Booked this property for our family and friends to stay for my daughter’s wedding weekend. We loved the house and it had tons of space! Everyone loved it! House was clean and ready to go when we got there. We were all very comfortable there and everything we needed was there. The beds were very comfortable and there was great areas inside and out to just hangout and relax. The view was incredible too! If there was any negatives it was the fact that we weren’t able to fully enjoy it cause of the busyness of the weekend! We all said that we would love to come back again and just relax one weekend so we may be back again!!

Enjoyed our stay! The views from each angle of the property were so, so nice! Our group had 4 families that stayed and we never felt crowded or that there was a lack of space. Plenty of linens available, washer/dryer worked great, open kitchen and large dining table made eating-in enjoyable, and rooms were spacious. Owner was great with communication and there were tons of water toys available on-site for use (floating mat, tubes, noodles, life vests, etc). There are boat rental companies on either side of the property, by water. About 5 min away. The dock area was top notch! Covered area for relaxing out of the sun, steps that allow walk entry into the water, uncovered area for fishing/swimming, and spacious slip. The only item we didn't bring and could have made good use of was a pack and play for our 9 month old. But this item wasn't shown as being included, but if you have small kids would definitely recommend. We loved it and would recommend. The only reason for the 4 star in cleanliness was due to spider webs that we had to clear/sweep from the dock area.
