About this house rental
Located in North Shore, this charming house for $1,200 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. DO NOT use " Request to Book" ! Use "Contact Host". We are required to post a 30 night minimum but this does not mean you must stay for 30 days. If your dates are marked "Unavailable", please still inquire with your dates thru the " "Contact Host". Much use of our home is by our extended family who are sometimes able to re-schedule their stay. Located on a private road, this LARGE 5 bedroom 4 bath home is ready for your Private Get-a-way. The Kitchen is Spacious with room for all and has all of our standard amenity’s such as Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal, Toaster, Blender and more. The dining table seats ten, and there are three bar stools at the Kitchen counter. But why dine inside? There is a seating on the Beach side yard and if the Menehunes are sprinkling you with a cool Tropical Shower, just seat yourselves on the 1,000+ sq ft Covered Lanai Mauka (Mountain) side of the house. The living area has a large 60 inch wall mounted HD flat screen, and of course, there is wireless Internet. Relax on the comfy furniture or take a nap on the Living Rooms California King Size Pune’e while gazing out at the Pacific Blue. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, two on one side of the home, the other opposite, each with a Queen bed. Two of these bedrooms are Ocean side for a Spectacular view of the Pacific while lying in bed. There are full Bathrooms on each end of the upstairs. One with tub and shower next to the single bedroom, the other with a walk in shower between the other two bedrooms. Downstairs are two more Bedrooms, each with a Queen bed and 3 single beds on opposite ends of the home There is another Full Bath with tub and shower in the hallway which is next to the Laundry room in the middle of the hallway between the two bedrooms. A 4th bathroom with shower is accessible from outside. As for the beach which is LESS THAN 100 FT from the patio , Malaekahana Bay is just about everyone's idea of the perfect Hawaiian beach. Even in the old Hawaiian day’s, it was known as a place of Sacred Refuge for the Heart, Mind and Soul and how the bay got it's name. It’s crescent shaped bay with a mile of deserted walking beach is perfect for Swimming, Snorkeling, Surfing, Boogie Boarding, Kite Surfing and Beach combing for the famous Glass Balls. With it’s limited access, it’s secluded almost to the point of deserted, but you may bump into the occasional fisherman whipping for Papio or the venerable throw net master. Get adventurous and take a stroll out to Mokuauia, also known as Goat Island. About 750 yds off the Malaekahana beach, this island holds two of the sweetest little sandy beaches of its own. Excellent Snorkeling. The island is a protected Turtle and Seabird sanctuary, but may be visited and there is a trail around the island. Take a stroll around it and when you find your spot on the beach to enjoy the view of Oahu from offshore, lay back in the sand on your own little deserted island. When you get back to your home away from home, there is an outside shower to rinse off the sand for as well as an additional enclosed bathroom with shower accessible only from the exterior. Restaurants, horseback riding, hiking, ocean sports, and many other activities are very close by. We are less than two miles north of Laie with it’s Foodland Grocery store and other local dining as well as a few franchise establishments. Laie Temple, BYU and the Polynesian Cultural Center are within another mile. We are three miles south of the Turtle Bay Resort where there are 36 holes of championship golf and a extensive tennis facility and pro shop. Casual as well as Fine Dining are available here. Another ten minutes away is the famous surfing beaches of Oahu's North Shore including “Sunset”, 'Pipeline' “Rocky Point”. Two miles more will get you to Sharks cove and 'Waimea Bay'. This is the PERFECT place for your large family or a couple of family's traveling together. Another GREAT Place at a GREAT Price giving You More Than a Set of Key’s ! Fabulous home that provided easy access to the beach for our large family group. The property was fully stocked with everything we needed inside and outside, from beach accessories to toiletries. Bill and Nancy were available and attentive to our questions/interests. Mahalo!

The accommodations was great had all the kitchen utilities needed. The beach was great and only a few other people walking around, the island in the picture can be walked to. Nice to have the different swimming gear so we didn't have to bring any. Looking forward to coming back with our friends.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time. The house was plenty spacious and and the kitchen was fully stocked. There was a large TV but we were so busy with activities that no one bothered to turn it on all week. We made full use of the boogie boards and beach chairs. One did break but was replaced with 2 new chairs. During the stay, there were strong winds one day which caused power outages around the island including this house. The hosts stopped by with a generator to run the refrigerator for a little while so our food would not spoil. Fortunately, the power did not stay off long. The views of the beach from the house were amazing and we caught some awesome sunrises. The beach was very secluded as they stated and it felt like our own private beach. Staying here helped make our vacation very memorable! We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it!

Our group included 4 generations of family coming together to enjoy the tropical island of Oahu. We enjoyed time together and the house accommodates large groups with all the rooms and gathering places inside and out. We loved cooking with the many appliances provided. An. extra refrigerator would be a great addition as it takes a lot of food for large groups. The beach was very nice although the trail is a bit steep as described by other reviews. It was nice to have the trash picked up frequently and the hosts provided suggestions and information regarding places to go and local details on waves, flooding areas, etc. The only unfortunate detail was the dishwasher broke and the host tried to replace it, which ended up being several hours right at our dinner time. After he left, we tried using the new one and it flooded the downstairs bedroom. We have requested some consideration for the inconvenience but so far have not received anything. Hopefully they will provide some refund for the issues.

The house is fully furnished and very functional. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals even a blender, toaster, and microwave. The property also had beach umbrella, chairs, water shoes. and boogie boards. Great accommodation for large family of twenty. Highly recommended for a family getaway!

We had a great experiencing staying at this property. It was plenty of room for our family of 13. Beautiful view. Having access to boogie boards, life jackets, sand toys and snorkeling gear was very nice. We loved seeing and hearing the ocean from the house. Nancy was great to work with too.

Home was just what our family of 16 needed to experience the North Shore of Oahu. Loved the privacy of the beach with all of the beach toys included, the many activities close to the property, and convenient location to grocery and great food choices as well as local shopping for souvenirs. Also the wildlife that visits the property daily is an added bonus for animal lovers. Mahalo Bill & Nancy!!

This is a great beach house. Step from the beach with everything provided. Snorkeling gear, surf boards, folding chairs. Wash off area with hot and cold water so you don’t track sand into the house. Large covered deck with room enough for 20+ people including an oversized four burner grill.
Owner stopped by to remove garbage and see if anything was needed every few days. Great house, great owners, amazing vacation.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Kahuku, HI. This house was so so so comfortable for the eight of us. What an amazing stay! We met the owners and they were very helpful and great people. The views of the ocean from the house were beautiful and we got to enjoy the beautiful sunrises just yards from the house. Thank you for all! I would recommend this house to anyone and hope to someday be back.

This house was so beautiful and open. Great beach view, and the house included plenty of water sports gear. My son and nephew had a great time surfing, and everyone loved snorkeling and boogie boarding. We also loved that it was near the PCC and North Shore. This was an amazing place to stay!

We had a family group of 21, ages 9-75. Everything was more than we expected! The home was clean, with plenty of room in kitchen and dining area. Large deck was nice. Nancy and Mike were very helpful and nice to work with. They went out of their way to check on us, and make sure everything was going well. Which it was! Amazing property, and we would love to use it again.

We had a great stay. This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 7 teens/children. The two rooms downstairs with all the beds was perfect. We loved that the beach was practically private and spent quite a bit of time there. The house was out of the city but had groceries, restaurants, drug stores, and plenty nearby. The owners were great to work with. We had no problems while we were there.

House was wonderful, it will sleep 16 adults in the beds provided. It does have a big puna in living room for one or two more people. The host was great to work with. Trail to beach a little steep, but we worked it out. Great place to stay, I would definitely go back.

We can only say positive things about our experience. Bill and Nancy are wonderful, meeting our every need. The house is so well-equipped; we lacked for nothing. The location is convenient to a private beach, as well as to other beaches. The sleeping arrangements were great for our family of 17, ages 1-74!!! We LOVED our stay. Highly recommend!!!!

Everything went perfectly from start to finish with Nancy and the use of this amazing home. We had 10 adults and an infant. More than enough room. Super clean! Everything we needed was there. More than expected. Huge home. The pictures don’t do it justice. Beach is literally 30 steps from the house. Nancy checked in as well and made sure we had everything.
