The Space:

The "Da Fuskie Dreams" House is an incredibly wonderful addition to the Daufuskie vacation home rental inventory! It's difficult to describe how lovely and unique this house is! It's breathtakingly lovely, starting with the fabulous screened-in front porch featuring a suspension "swing bed" and "swing table." As soon as you walk onto the porch, you will know you are in for a one-of-a-kind island experience!



You’ll love the beauty and comfort of this well-equipped house, its serene setting, and large screened-in front porch. The house is impeccably constructed and designed. The pretty kitchen is fully equipped and will make preparing family meals a snap. The Living Room includes great views of the surrounding woods and features a flat-screen Smart TV. The owner has recently had a fiber optics high-speed internet and cable system installed, the only such combo system to be found in a Daufuskie historic district vacation home.

Visitors are an easy walk away from Daufuskie's historic church, from the Mary Fields School (now housing the School Grounds Coffee Shop and the Daufuskie Blues studio), and from the historic Francis Jones House. Beach Road is just around the corner, and the best beach on the island is a 5 minute golf cart away.



This house is perfect for those who want to get off the beaten track and really get to know this unique and quirky island, including its warm and friendly residents. Visitors are given the opportunity to experience an island life that has all but disappeared from the Low Country region.

The Daufuskie Rental Group team live on the island and will be available 24/7 for any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. We strive to make the Daufuskie experience a stress-free and enjoyable adventure.

PET POLICY:



Well-behaved canine family members are welcome, but must be adult dogs, housetrained, must stay off of furniture, not be incessant barkers, and must be friendly towards humans and other dogs. Upon departure, the vacation home should look as though no pet had been in it, including removal of pet hair. There is a pet fee of $125 for one dog, and $175 for two dogs.



In addition, the property manager must approve all pet requests. Your dog must be over one year old, not be aggressive towards people or other pets, be house trained, will not get up on the furniture, and is ok with being left alone when you are away from the cottage (e.g., no incessant barking or destructive behavior). We also ask that you be a responsible pet owner when the dog is outside, that there will be no signs that your pet was in the property when you depart, and that you will be responsible for any damage and/or extra cleaning caused by your dog.
