The size of the house and location was awesome for our family of 10. However, the house was full of roaches. The kitchen was missing many items needed (hot pads, can opener, glasses, etc). Remotes were missing batteries. We had to purchase these ourselves (which I left at the house). The dishwasher also did not work properly and there was not a broom to clean the floors of sand. One of the bikes chain broke during our stay. I phoned the help number but was never replied to. Our entire family was not able to all use the bikes. We love Seaside but it is unlikely we will stay at this property again in the future.

We rented the “Old Natchez Compound” for Spring Break for 7 day 3/12-3/19/2022. This VRBO Premier Host property included the main house and a separate detached carriage house at the rate of over $2,200 all in per night. Both houses slept 18 people. If the utilities worked properly, the house(s) would have been great. It is well located and although a bit dated, it would have comfortably fit our group. However, issues arose upon arrival. Upon arrival, there was no heat or hot water in the carriage house. 360 Blue was notified of the issue. Members of our party tried to sleep in the carriage house. Because the temperature was 55 degrees at 9 PM and dropping fast, they were unable to sleep or shower in the carriage house and moved over to the main house. Later that evening, the temp in the house dropped to high 40s. On Sunday, a 360 representative attempted to turn the heat on but was unsuccessful. He advised the gas company was to be contacted to resolve. The 360 Blue representative advised that the company maintains over 600 properties and can not be expected to verify that utilities are maintained for every property and ensure that utilities work as required. Monday: No progress and no heat. Tuesday: A gas representative came on sight to turn the gas on. He advised the gas had been off since early February. Upon vacating the Old Natchez Compound, we followed up with 360 Blue for a partial return of the money paid. A representative had advised earlier in week that “we will work something out.” 360 Blue emailed that the “best they could do” was to return a mere $100 to compensate us for their failure to provide adequate lodging as described in VRBO. If we wanted more, they advised to “do what you need to do.” Because the property is advertised as a “Premier Host”, we expected much more. Heat and hot water should not have been an issue. Honestly, I was really looking forward to our break. The first few days were stressful and it felt like I was working trying to get the property operational by working with 360 Blue and escorting maintenance teams in and out of the carriage and main house. In addition, it was also embarrassing as my wife and I were the hosts and everyone had to cram into the main house.

No heat, no hot water, not premier… Don’t bother with Old Natchez.

I had a large group (13) adults at this house for a long weekend. The location is great and there was plenty of room for us. Unfortunately, the house had some cleanliness issues. Many air vents were covered in mold and mildew. Some bedrooms had water damage that was unrepaired and showed signs of mold. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, specifically the large porches and the outdoor dining table. If I were to stay there again I would check to make sure more care was given to cleaning the house, specifically the mold and mildew.

A good time was had by all, once the property manager was reached when we arrived. Most of the house was locked and inaccessible until we finally reached 360 the evening of check in to unlock the internal bedrooms as advertised
