Located in South Haven, this charming cottage for $399 per night is a great choice for your next trip. 4 Bedrooms, Spectacular Spa Bathroom Just a 15 second stroll to South Haven's famous, white-powder sand North Beach! Outstanding location with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and special - Central Air-Conditioning, Premium Bedding, Wifi, Cable TV (five screens), Surround Sound System, Fridge with Ice-maker, Dishwasher and more. South Haven has always been a magical place to our family - somewhere that we gather to make memories and let the world drift by for a bit. We want our guests to love it every bit as much as we do. Our cottage-home sleeps up to Eight (8) people in Four (4) bedrooms. All of our mattresses were custom-made by King Koil, integrating a cooling gel layer over several comfort layers and one of their finest innerspring systems. We provide bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels, all of which we regularly replace. You'll also find some cookies, hot cocoa and tea for your enjoyment. We recently made many updates to make your stay more pleasant, including: • New 49" 4K TV in the Great Room with a Dolby Atmos 5.2.1 Surround Sound System • 32" TV in Kids Room for Video Gaming with Cable (Comcast) • TV's in the other three Bedrooms with Cable (Comcast) • New granite countertops in the kitchen • New Kitchen Flooring • New Water Softener Explore the many reasons to stay at our beautiful cottage in South Haven, Michigan. It's more than the Blueberry Festival or picture-perfect sunsets, more than the best ice cream or the art shows — it's a safe-haven from the rest of the world where time slows down as boats glide past on the Black River, a place where good friends meet for wine tasting and to talk late into the night. It's a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy living for a while! Welcome. Poplars Cottage is ideally located just off the main beach road, Lake Shore Drive, literally seconds from one of the finest white-powder sand beaches in the U.S. Throughout the summer, the City of South Haven combs the beach of debris to keep it looking pristine. The sun, setting as it does over the lake, often brings with a spectacular color palette that truly must be seen to be believed. Set amidst this idyllic locale, Poplars Cottage features: A Great Room - A comfortable sectional makes for ideal lounging conditions to read a book, chat with family and friends, or watch some serious television on the 4K LCD with full Dolby Atmos Surround Sound. Use of our Netflix subscription is complimentary, along with standard Comcast Cable. Or if you're in the mood for some music, an Amazon echo connects to the system with full Amazon Music privileges. Four Bedrooms • Three bedrooms have Queen Beds • One bedroom has a Bunk Bed with a Full and a Twin mattress All the beds were replaced in 2017 with custom King Koil™ luxury mattresses. 2 Full Bathrooms. 1. Totally Renovated Bathroom, featuring Spa-Style Shower (wall/hand-held, rain can, and body spray) and a heated floor. The six-function spa shower has (a) multi-setting wall / hand-held shower combo; (b) overhead rain-can shower; and, (c) four body sprays; plus combinations of any two. A sheet of natural onyx is inset within the shower wall, behind shelves for shampoo and soap. Besides having tremendous natural beauty, Onyx is remarkably translucent. We've added a customizable color backlight behind the onyx and a wall-mounted control panel over the sink. To add to your shower experience, turn on the onyx backlighting and watch as it continually changes colors and hues. Of course, no shower would be relaxing if you were to run out of hot water, so we've installed a high-capacity, industrial-style tankless hot water heater for unlimited hot water. The 2nd bathroom is ensuite, with tub/shower combination. This thoughtfully designed bathroom creates an oasis for convenience and privacy. Other Features: • Full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge with ice maker, waffle maker, blender, and coffee maker. • Central A/C and Heat with a supplementary system for the great room. • Full Washer & Dryer • High-speed Internet via Wifi • Standard Comcast Cable Outdoor shower with hot/cold water for rinsing sand off from the beach. Built sometime around 1920, the Poplars Cottage has been in our family for four generations. For over 100 years visitors have been vacationing in the beach cottages of South Haven. The Poplars Cottage continues this great tradition by providing an exciting beach house experience for our guests. Come, sample the essence of South Haven: it’s History, Flavor, Watercolor Sunsets and So Much More! Covid-19: All common surfaces in our cottage are being wiped down between stays with anti-viral / germicidal products. Guests are asked to inform us if any exhibit any symptoms of illness during or proximate to the time of their stay. Your safety, as our guests, is of the utmost importance.

A few suggestions: handrails are needed in the showers, & the back storm door closes too hard often trapping body parts ( we have bruises to prove it). TV usage was quite challenging. If your neighbors in back would trim the bush at the corner down to fence level, you would have a fantastic view of the lake.

We loved this property - it is exactly as advertised. Full kitchen, which is nice, and plenty of beach towels. The bedding was nice, we all slept well. My son wanted to take the shower home. It is just a little tricky to find - be sure to follow the directions carefully and go all the way around the hairpin turn. We would stay again - great access to beach.

Had a great time at this comfortable and clean cottage. The beach was huge with soft white sand. Parking was close and easy. Set in a beautiful, quite community. The sunsets are gorgeous!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four! The location cannot be beat as you are literally just steps away from North Beach. The kitchen and bathroom have been nicely updated, and there was plenty of bedroom space for all. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation in South Haven.

We loved our stay at the Poplars! Literally every part of our stay was perfect! The pictures don’t do this property justice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The property managers couldn’t have made the arriving process any easier. Right away we received a text. We didn’t need a thing, but they were just a text away if we did. They also left popcorn and a bottle of wine for us! The Poplars is so, so close to the beach! We just truly couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Just amazing
This was our favorite trip this summer! Perfect location- property was so clean and well equipped. The communication with property management was best I have ever had ever renting a summer property… that’s over 17 years!!! We can’t recommend highly enough!!!!

The house was perfect for our stay. We were so close to the water and there was a little playground on the beach for the kids. The hosts left little cookies, hot chocolate and popcorn that the kids enjoyed. Such a thoughtful touch. We are already talking about when to go back.

We loved our stay at Poplars! The hosts are super thoughtful with little details. Location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach and even has some views of the water out a couple of the windows. We were also able to walk into town to grab a bite to eat.

Debbie made the stay worth it. Don't be fooled by the size the home it is very spacious and well laid out. You are seconds from the beach and only 15 min walk (depending on bridge) from downtown. We were able to go back and forth from the beach for food, beverages and bathroom. You can't beat it. We will be staying here again. A+ rental and personnel running it!

We booked this cottage for a short South Haven getaway. It was our first time visiting South Haven and it made the trip very enjoyable. Very short walk to the beach made it very easy to go back and forth with our two small children

I was very impressed with our stay at the Poplars. The place was very clean. The shower was amazing 😇� Debbie the manager was also very responsive with all our needs but at the same time gives us the privacy we need. The parking spot is also very conveniently located, right I. Front of the house. Thank you so much, I enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying again. My daughter calls the house her hotel.
