Just one block off of the main street, this sun drenched unit is located in an elevator building that is close to all the action. Walk to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants, movie theater or the ice skating gazebo (during the winter months). Enjoy all the comforts of home at the Eagle Street Retreat: A fully furnished open concept kitchen, breezy balcony complete with eating area and a grill. Master Suite has a relaxing soaking tub, and 2nd full bathroom has a walk in shower. Large flat screen TV and spacious living / dining room are perfect for watching a movie or playing a board game. After staying in beach towns in Michigan for many years, this condo was more than we ever expected in this new-to-us town. Every creature comfort that we could want was in this beautiful, comfy, cozy condo. From the soft, delicious-smelling towels to the lovely sheets on the comfortable beds and everything in between, we would stay here every time if we were to come back in the future. Everything you could need for a carefree vacation was in this house. She even carried top-of-the-line plastic wrap and tinfoil! Lol! Even sound machines in both bedrooms! Everything was super clean, and we didn’t even find one scrap of evidence of people who stayed before. We loved the beautiful master bathroom and the free parking. South Haven is a beautiful town, so please enjoy yourself and rest easy in this beautiful condo.

The condo provided us with a great home base that had most everything we needed for our visit. Its very well stocked, and when we didn't remember to bring condiments, we were happy to see there was even a little stash of mustard and mayo packets in the cabinet. We really enjoyed the location being so close to the downtown and river areas. We could walk almost everywhere we needed to go. Our group chose to drive to the beach so we could haul everything we needed, but we walked everywhere else.
It was very quiet during the week, and a little busier on the weekend, but as requested by the city, it quiets down nicely after 10pm. There is some truck/delivery traffic, but nothing problematic.
We used the balcony morning, noon and night. It was lovely sitting out there since we had perfect weather.
Monica was great to work with, and always responded promptly to questions. Our group of 4 adults loved the condo and the location, and found we had plenty of room without feeling crowded. We would recommend it to anyone staying in South Haven.

The condo was as advertised. Located close to downtown but not too close so the noise was a problem. Monica was a joy to deal with and kept in constant contact with us to make sure everything was alright. Would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in South Haven.

Great Get-away!
We are first-time VRBO customers and found this condo while looking for a place in South Haven, MI., where we used to own a summer house. It was nice getting reacquainted with SH.
View of 4th of July fireworks was great from the balcony.
Very comfortable condo for 4-6 people. Hope to return in the fall.....

Winter weekend in South Haven
Loved this condo that sits a block off of Phoenix St with all SoHa's restaurants and shops. Perfect location and even had a peekaboo view of the lake! Highly recommended!

A delightful condo. Close to restaurants, shops, beach and lighthouse. Unit offered many amenities. We could easily cook at home when we wished.

We perfect the north side and went there every day.
Monica was great tot deal with and a great hostess...there was a nice welcome basket of goodies waiting for us upon arrival. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Good Location and value
This place is a good location to walk main DT where shops, restaurants and walking to south beach, splash pad and lighthouse. North beach is short drive but a nicer beach. This is a good location for the price. I rent in VBRO all the time and prefer the ones that at least keep on hand sugar for coffee, oil and spices for cooking. You must bring everything you need for eating in. They have all the dishes, silverware, pots and pans, but only salt and pepper. The dishwasher was nice. Last year we rented a place without one and that totally sucked. It was nice to have foil and plastic wrap on hand and a few storage containers. We ate 90% of meals in because we also had an infant. There is no tub if you have a child that would prefer bath. We had an infant tub we laid in shower so it worked for us but she was only 6 months old. It was nice to have 2 queen beds if vacationing with another couple. Many places did not have this. Was a little irritated that my daughter’s car was hit while parked in the condo lot that was practically empty while we went to the beach. Beds could be more comfortable. Sleep is a big deal on vacation. I remember all the places I stay that have awesome beds because it is rare. They do not recycle here so my daughter went home with a bag of cans to bring to Meijers and I went home with a bin of other recycling. I refuse to fill landfills with recycling. This is becoming a pet peeve of mine with rentals and feel vbro needs to start putting a green rating on rentals. I would recommend overall.

We loved our long weekend in South Haven. The property is in a great location. Just steps to the shops and restaurants and not very far from South Beach with splash park, playground and public beach access. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. South Haven Gem
Monica's property is close to all the restaurants and shopping and the condo has everything we needed for a fun, comfortable stay. From the welcome goody basket, easy check-in process and clear communication during our trip, Monica made sure we had a vacation to remember. The giant master shower was a huge upgrade and the balcony offers great views of the heart of South Haven's downtown activity. We will certainly consider visiting Monica's property in the future!

Best of both worlds
The property is in a great location In town. Getting to the beach took only minutes and in the evening we could walk everywhere. The condo was very updated and comfortable. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly to questions. I would recommend this property.

Great Location
This condo was within walking distance of all the downtown shopping & restaurants. It was very nicely decorated & clean. Only negative would be that there is only one shower, but owner plans to put a new shower in the master bathroom. During our stay it only had a tub without shower capabilities.

Eagle Street Retreat
We stayed here with four adults and two children. It was very clean and extremely convenient to walk to town. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and drinking our coffee. Monica has outfitted the condo with many conveniences. The kitchen was well equipped even though we did zero cooking. There was also a beach umbrella, sand toys, beach towels and cooler provided.
There was some noise on some mornings from deliveries being made to neighboring restaurants but that is to be expected with the location. We are early birds so it did not bother us. There are sound machines in the bedrooms to help with that. The master does not have a shower but does have a bathtub with a handheld nozzle which helped greatly!
Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Modern Condo
Highly recommend this beautiful condo with a great view from the balcony. Awesome location as you can walk to all the shops, restaurants, and of course the beautiful beach!!! Manager provided immediate response to our questions about little things in the condo. Would definitely come back ….

Great Stay in South Haven
We enjoyed our stay at Monica's condo. The check-in was easy. There was plenty of parking. The condo building was new and nice. There was a binder with helpful information as well as a welcome basket of snacks (very nice!) The location was great too -- right in the heart of shopping and activities. The kitchen dishes, pots and pans, utensils were nice and everything you needed was there. My only real complaint would be that the bed in the master bedroom where I slept had a really firm mattress and was not very comfortable for me personally. I think a memory foam topper might improve it. I liked the bath tub in the master bathroom, but I could see how it would be difficult for an older person to climb in. It was great to have the grill on the patio. We grilled out and ate our dinner on the balcony.
Overall, it was really nice place and worked well for our group of four.

This was a great place to stay for our family of four! We had everything we needed for the week in this property. It was a short walk downtown or the beach which made it super convenient for us! The home was beautiful and clean. Thanks for the great stay!

Wonderful Stay in South Haven
We had a wonderful stay. The condo was just as promised and the location was excellent. It was so nice to be able to walk to restaurants, ice cream, the pier, etc.
While you could walk to the beach, it's a bit of a hike with lots of beach stuff—so we drove each time. But having the beach so close is a definite plus.
Having only one shower was our sole complaint. But the positives about this place greatly outweigh that one tiny complaint. And, to be honest, our five-year-old absolutely loved the soaking tub in the master bedroom.
As the condo is right in downtown, there was a bit of city noise (trucks backing up at the crack of dawn, a very close outdoor restaurant, etc.). But we expected this and didn't find it too bothersome.
We were also pleasantly surprised by how well the place was made ready for us. From the fresh, clean beach and bath towels to the basket with coffee and snacks to the wonderfully helpful labels put on the light switches, you could tell a lot of attention was paid to making us feel at home from day one.
We look forward to coming back!
