The Black Pearl is located within the Colonial Condominiums. The Colonial Condominiums were originally built in the early 1900's as a hotel. It offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern convenience in beautiful South Haven. Located within walking distance to the pristine beaches of Lake Michigan, the Colonial Condominiums are centrally located for easy access to local restaurants, shopping and outdoor recreation. The Black Pearl includes: -Flat screen tv -Wireless Internet provided by the association -Coin operated laundry in basement -Nearby off-site parking for 3 vehicles -Weekly rentals The condo was remodeled and combines both unit 10 & 11. The entrance into the unit is through unit 10. The Black Pearl features: -2 bedrooms -2 full bathrooms -High ceilings -3 queen-sized beds -Full kitchen -Communal large deck on the Black River and overlooking Lake Michigan *all condos, buildings and decks are non-smoking Please note that due to the Black Pearl being located in downtown, Summer evenings and some weekends in the Spring and Fall can get a bit noisy.

My wife and I came with another couple over New Years. The Black Pearl was really nice. The location was perfect we walked everywhere. The size of the bedrooms and the living area was perfect for the four of us. The interior was well done and we had a wonderful time during our stay. We had good communication from the owner and highly recommend the Black Pearl.

The condo is nicer than the pictures are able to show. The location is right on the river, with a huge deck for watching the boats. Walk to restaurants, downtown shops or to the many benches along the river. Large white sandy beach. Not familiar with streaming, we did struggle with the television and wi-fi was not working.

Just got home from a wonderful three day stay in South Haven, at the Black Pearl. What a great apartment it is complete with high ceilings and professionally decorated throughout. Great location to downtown and shops/restaurants and a quick walk to the lake as well. Our host was attentive, and most accommodating. five star visit for sure! Joe from Ohio.

Absolutely wonderful! The condo was even nicer in person! Beautifully appointed. Very stylish and super clean! Location was wonderful, right on a marina, with many great restaurants within walking distance. There was more to do and see than we could fit into our 2 1/2 days there. Stephanie is an amazing host! Very informative, communicative and easily reachable. I highly recommend the Black Pearl!

Family of 4, stayed for long weekend. Great location - easy access to beach, biking, kayaking on river. Quick walk to shops and restaurants. Bathrooms and kitchen are nicely updated. Stephanie is a great host and very responsive! Would stay again.

The Black Pearl was amazing. The host Stephanie has her guests in mind. The layout and decor is great and if you need something no worries it is there. Location is amazing loved watching the boats go by!! Kitchen is the best equiped kitchen I have experienced in a vacation rental. We would definetly go back!

Excellent location - central to beach and downtown. Very nice deck overlooking river. Condo was renovated and setup nicely - just like the pictures. Was great for our group of friends since this is two units combined into one larger unit. Owner was very timely and responsive to questions. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

3 life-long girlfriends stayed 4 nights at the Black Pearl. The condo was in a fabulous location - easy walk to the restaurant and shopping district of South Haven, and a short drive to the beaches. The inside of the condo was very clean and nicely decorated and the owners easy to communicate with! Highly recommend - we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The condo was better than imagined...had everything you would need for your stay and then some. Condo is well maintained and is close to everything in town. We walked to shops and restaurants. The drive to the wineries was not that far either and we loved the outside deck area in the evening. Would definitely stay there again!!

This is our 5th time staying in South Haven. Q We usually stay on the beach, but this time we decided to stay downtown. It was awesome! The Black Pearl is such a nice condo with the nicest host. The beds are very comfortable and it’s very clean. We loved being downtown close to the shops and the walk to the beach was short enough! We would definitely book another stay at the Black Pearl!

Stephanie is a very kind and generous host. The Welcome Bag was such a kind gesture. We started enjoying the treats as soon as we arrived. I felt like I was staying at a friend's house. We only needed to bring our clothes and food. Everything else was considered and made available; kitchen utensils, appliances, spices, family games, umbrella for the deck, one for the beach, and a cooler. Thank you for making our family vacation so enjoyable!

We have been coming to South Haven for many years and have rented several different homes. This is absolutely a favorite! It’s a great space for a small group (or family) and in the heart of everything- Shopping, short walk to the beach, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. It’s quiet, well laid out, clean and beautiful. We we will definitely be back!

We loved staying at the Black Pearl. Perfect location a heartbeat away from downtown South Haven. Beautifully decorated, soothing space, responsive host. Loved having morning coffee on the comfy couch & an afternoon glass of wine on the deck outside, watching boats go by. We will definitely book here again!

The Black Pearl is a beautifully decorated and maintained condo. The morning sunlight in the east room was a treat (we visited during a chilly rainy week in October). Initially we didn’t have an access code to get in the building itself (or the staircase when the elevator wasn’t working), but both times Stephanie responded immediately to my phone calls. Being right on a busy road made for some noise during the day, but being within walking distance of downtown and the beach was a benefit. We enjoyed our time at the Black Pearl immensely!

The place was beautiful nice and clean. Stephanie was very time conscious with all of my questions with great answers. There’s a lot to see with a lot of fun activities to keep everyone entertained. Two authors who came up to South Haven for a writing retreat and we couldn't have found a better place to stay! The condo was in a great old building, yet had every modern convenience. It was spotless and beautiful and felt very safe. We loved how we could walk to town or down to the beach with little effort and loved, loved the drawbridge and all the boats on the river.
