About this house rental
Situated in Swansboro, this attractive house for $184 per night is a great option for your next break. “The Friendly City by the City” is a wonderful little town called Swansboro, NC. It is located in the Historic section of downtown at the nearby beaches. Restaurants, Festivals, gift shops and live music ARE all within one block. View of the White Oak river and the Crystal Coast Inter Coastal Waterway. The beaches of Emerald Isle are only 3 miles away and Hammock’s Beach State Park is only 2 miles away. It has been a dream of ours to turn our home into a vacation home so visitors and enjoy their vacation as if they were home. We have 2 large front porches with Rocking chairs and a swing. The porches overlook the White Oak River with a view of the ICW to the right. There is a deck in back with grill and chairs. Amenities include a HD Smart TV, reclining sofa, recliner and swivel chair. The large master bedroom has a Queen bed, HD Smart TV, full master bath, walk-in closet and a door opening to the Top deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed, 3rd Bedroom has Twin Beds, 4th bedroom has a futon couch/bed. There is a full bath upstairs next bedroom 2 and 3. The dining room has a dining table, with seating for 4 or 6. Free Wi-Fi. The fully-equipped, kitchen has a 3-stool bar and overlooks the dining room. There is laminate floors throughout the main living areas and carpet upstairs. We have central heat and air. Our home comes with a washer and dryer, as well. No smoking inside.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house in Swansboro. The owners were so nice and left little touches about the house that made our stay so comfortable from complimentary coffee to towels and lines.
The downtown area is so cute and only 1 block away. We enjoyed walking around every morning and evening and checking out the restaurants and shops.
Also, my son loves the ducks of Swansboro. We had the same visitor every morning and evening; a muscovy duck who my son named Darryl.
We were close proximity to Emerald Isle as well which is a beautiful beach.
Can’t wait to come back!

Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Stores are a short drive away! We picked here because we wanted to be close to emerald isle and jacksonville.

Wonderful house in a wonderful location! We have been visiting Emerald Isle and Swansboro for over 40 years. This was one of the nicest houses we stayed in. Very clean and all the amenities you could need. We had many errands to run due to a death in the family but really enjoyed the time at the house. It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants and the shops in the area or just order take-out and eat in. Even though we had a lot to get done the week we were there, it was great to come "home" to relax. Would definitely like to get back soon.

Suellen was just wonderful from start to finish. Anytime I had questions, she answered them quickly. The house was very clean, had great views and is in a great location. It was so nice to be able to walk to dinner, Flotilla and tree lighting. We fixed a lot of our meals at the house, and we had plenty of room for the five of us. Plus, we were able to entertain our daughter and her family. The weather was nice and we enjoyed the porches everyday. Great place to have morning coffee looking at the water view and beautiful sunrises. The home was decorated for Christmas which we just loved. Suellen is a great host, and I would love to stay their again when visiting our daughter.

This house is amazing! It’s beautiful and well maintained. It was very clean. Communication with Suellen was easy and she’s very responsive. House is in a great area within walking distance to waterfront, restaurants and shops. We especially loved the front porch swing and rocking chairs! Would highly recommend staying at the Boro.

Long weekend by the Boro
This is our second time staying at this property. We loved it so much we had to come back. The house is clean, well stocked and has lot of room for a family get a way. Fantastic location, within easy walking distance to downtown Swansboro where there are lots of shops and local dining. The hosts are amazing and keep you updated and ensure you do not need anything. Highly recommended and we will be back again soon.

This big beautiful house is located walking distance to everything Swansboro! We were here for 6 weeks and loved every minute! Restaurants, water-sports, shopping, parks, Churches, fishing, running paths, Pogies kids camps and ferries, and more are all walking distance! The host’s communication was fabulous and they are as friendly as can be. We would definitely stay here again and again.

The property is perfectly located ( rock throwing distance) from several Great restaurants, shops, kayak retals, bait/tackle shops and across the street from a small public pier. 10-15 from the beach, Wal-Mart, Lowes and Walgreens/ CVS. When we had a minor issue with the AC, the property owner was there in minutes to fix the problem.
