Definitely a great location! Only minor gripe would be the shower- it was very dim with the opaque shower curtain and the shower head was one with super fine stream so it was like little water picks. A different curtain or a light over the shower would help with the light issue, and a different shower head would solve the prickly water, so like I said… super minor gripe :)

We came from Ohio for a few days and we very much enjoyed our stay! It was such a walkable, safe and beautiful area. We did have a few excursions planned but after arriving we decided they were not neccesary. Being on lake time was exactly what our family needed. Thank you for sharing your beautifully decorated beach cottage with us! Hope we can return next year!

This home is very cute, although quite small and the stairs up to the second floor are a bit of a challenge. Eclectic very cute furnishings & bright colors. Warm upstairs - A/C did not quite function as well upstairs - would be beneficial to have ceiling fans or stand up oscillating fans for the two bedrooms upstairs. Other than that perfect location - close to everything that makes Grand Haven special.

We had a lovely time in Grand Haven staying at the Flip Flop cottage. The location is wonderful and the home was cozy and clean. Just right for a small family. Only thing I would note if you plan to cook at all you will need to plan for all pantry items (oil, seasonings, etc.). We love coming to the beach each year and are glad we found this great little cottage!

We had a great time & thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the flip flop cottage!! Great spot for our family of 5! Loved that we could walk to lunch/dinner and it was just a very short drove to the beautiful beaches! We hope to be back again soon!

This house was perfect for us and we lived the front porch. Great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee and end the day with a glass of wine sitting on the porch.

The property was super clean. While not spacious, the space was functional and worked well for my family. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one on main floor. Less than 5 minute walk to downtown and 1 mile to the city and state park beaches.

We loved staying at Lisa's place! Everything was clean, and we had all we needed for cooking and fun around the campfire. It was so convenient, especially since we had to put my son down for naptime everyday. It was nice to be right next to downtown, the boardwalk, and the beach. Lisa was helpful when we needed an early check-in and late checkout, and accommodated all requests. We hope to return!

The property was very cute and close to everything. It had everything you need abs was a great place to stay! I would highly recommend!! We were there with thee adults and two prescivhool kids. It was perfect

While the house was in a nice spot with friendly neighbors the cleanliness left something to be desired. They gave flip flops that were clearly used by other people and though it was nice they offered them if you can't afford to get new flip flops for each group that stays then just don't offer them. Then there was a musty smell in the house and layers of dust in places where you put clothes. It's a shame really the house is small but it has potential if they could only get their crap together.

This property was good for our short stay in Grand Haven over the Labor Day weekend. It’s got the essentials, and it housed our family of four, two adults and two children under 6, with no issues. Cable TV is limited, so I would recommend taking a Firestick if you’re interested in late night TV viewing.

There were 5 adults and one infant - we loved staying here. The location is terrific for walking to downtown restaurants and shopping and a very short drive to the beach. The house is super cute; it is an older home but decorated and furnished well. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The house was everything we needed for 6 of us. Fire pit and good size backyard was convenient when other family members came by to visit especially under the circumstances we are all under these days. River, Pronto Pups and downtown were just a stone's throw away! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks to Lisa for her prompt responses!

Somewhere between tastefully and funkily is where the decorative style of this cozy, charming two-story home resides. You'll love the hardwood floors, by the way. The owner was even kind enough to let us in a couple of hours before our scheduled time. And, yes, it really IS only one block from the water. My only mild dissatisfaction is that while the first floor is centrally air-conditioned, the upstairs is not. Having slept up there one night by myself, I can say that the portable fan was quite adequate in cooling me and allowing for a very good night of sleep. In case you're wondering, I WOULD stay here again.

The house is great, everything is as described. It was very clean and the overall look was very cozy. and fun. The host was easy to communicate with then needed. The location was perfect. Two minute walk right into the heart of downtown, and just a two minute drive to the beach.

This cute cottage is perfectly located downtown Grand Haven on a very quiet street. We loved the convenient walk to all the shopping, restaurants and boardwalk. Short bike ride/car ride to the state and city beach.

This was a completely unexpected stay. My family and I booked with another HomeAway host who, due to unforeseen circumstances, canceled last minute. Lisa came to our rescue! She too, had a group cancel last minute and it seemed as if a match was made from heaven. This a beautiful welcoming home. All the amenities you can dream of, wifi, ac/heat, towels, dishes, fresh linen, grill, the beach home/host even provided us with flip flops! The house was more than accommodating to our family of 6 adults and a small child. Three full bedrooms, two baths, even an area to do laundry; it was great! We enjoyed the whole experience of Grand Haven, all the while feeling as if we were at home. Quite a remarkable thing! Lisa is 100% accommodating and one of the nicest people you'll meet. We cannot wait to book again! Thank you Lisa for sharing your beautiful home.

Great house and location

We loved this house. It’s 1 block from the pier and 1 block from the downtown area. It’s about a mile from the beach. Owner is very responsive. The home is old but very well kept with very cute furnishings and very clean. Two bedrooms and the full bath are on the 2 nd floor. We would definately stay here again.
