Very relaxed and the grounds and its treasures were lovely. We were a large group and the apartment had lots of room so we were completely comfortable.
I would not say didn’t like, just be prepared for the travel time from lodge to city centre. Free ferry is great.

Super friendly people, quiet, in a lot of nature. Kids enjoyed the chickens and bikes.
Location was far from Amsterdam Central as well as any kind of transport so it was very difficult getting there. There was definitely an attempt to accommodate for kids (cribs, toys and gardens) but gave off hostel vibes with other guests drinking and partying so if we were to go back, I would not go with my young kids. I would rather wait til they were older. We were given an upstairs unit and the stairs were an issue as well.

The property was very close to the ferry into Amsterdam and the hosts where lovely people
No blind on the front door so quite bright at night time
