I didn’t have breakfast.
Loved the location and the pride of the hotel and staff in its’ history. I appreciated the way it had been conserved but not restored, in keeping with the ethos of the village. I loved the view of the green and tree lined avenue from my room.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was a pleasant nights stop as we also wanted to have walkabout in Port Sunlight. The staff were nice and helpful and zi slept well. Food was good and they keep a nice pint of GKIPA.q
It is a shame that Greene King dont seem to want to do the necessary repairs to the fabric of this lovely old hotel. It is looking shabby but not chic..they are running with a minimum of staff and there is nobody about after they close the bar and then open for breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was lovely staying in a building with a bit of history.
Some of the furnishings in our room were a little tired but it was comfortable enough and a quiet location.

Good value for money and convenient for the ferry in a nice location.
Staff seemed disinterested. Full English breakfast was freshly cooked but there was a delay in getting it to our table, so was cold. The building was shabby and in need of an update.
