Interesting place with lots of character. Excellent location in the heart of the city. Clean and well equipped.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He even let me leave my luggage in the hotel after I checked out and provided me with the entry code so that I can come and go as a please, even though I was no longer a guest. This was a big help for me since I spent another full day in the city. The location is also great. Everything I needed was in walking distance. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped.

The floor and some other surfaces were a bit dusty. Nothing I couldn't handle, though. The street where my window opened to was rather busy and there was no air conditioning so I had to keep that window open.

Unbeatable location. Makes you feel like a local as you turn off the busy streets into your own apartment building. Decent sized room and cool but kind of grungy decor.

I would not stay here in the summer. It was hot despite the mild weather and opening the window would mean letting in the constant street noise. With the windows closed the noise is fine although the walls seem very thin and you can hear people in other rooms very clearly. Also annoying is the typical European motion sensor-activated lights. Maybe in a windowless hallway you could leave the lights on? So then I wouldn't have to walk around in the dark waving like an idiot?

Very central location. Very easy self check- in with detailed and easy to follow instructions. Rooms really look like on the pictures and are a good size

We had a street facing room and it was extremely noisy. Because there is no aircon we had to have the windows opened at night to ease the oppressive heat in the room that not even the ventilator could ease. There was a kettle but no cups.

The host was really friendly and the hotel was constantly being cleaned which was nice. The rooms were basic but had what you need and the location is amazing just a few minutes walk to the main piazza which was great!

Hello, as clearly explained, we are expected to arrive between 14h and 17h when checking in. The not so well indicated information is that when checking out at 10h, we cannot leave our luggage a couple of hours in the hostel. It so happens that on the Saterday I checked out, I didn't find any places in Trieste where I could leave my luggage. In the railway station, it is closed, in the bus station, it ends at 13h and a private place called "easy" something near the bus station is not yet open. I tried different hotels near the central bus station, they refused, some nicely and some not so nicely, saying that I should ask such a service only to the hostel I booked in. My thinking is that it should be possible to organize something, especially for the day we check out, either based on a technical device with an extra card, or by asking to a different specific hostel or restaurant to offer that service.
