The location is perfect for exploring the town. Restaurants and bars are right outside the door. The shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.
No iron. There was an ironing board but we couldn’t find an iron.

We didn't stay in the apartments as there was an issue on the day of arrival with the air conditioning. But Irena was on it before we had arrived. She organized for us to stay in another apartment belonging to the building next door. The place was spotless and we really appreciated Irena going out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay.
As I can't speak for the apartments themselves, the nightlife noise on the street is very loud. Thankfully we are deep sleepers and with earplugs we slept comfortably. But something to be aware of.

The communication with the host prior to arrival was very good. She was responsive, friendly, and helpful via WhatsApp, and kindly allowed us to arrive half an hour earlier than the official check-in time. Once the room was ready, it was clean and generally nicely presented.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. Upon arrival, the room had not yet been cleaned, which was quite unpleasant. It was uncomfortable to see the room exactly as it had been left by the previous guests. Although the host apologised and asked us to return later, the room was still not ready by the official check-in time.
There were also some maintenance and comfort issues. The bathroom door did not properly fit and could not be closed, and the shower appeared poorly constructed. The curtains did not block out much light, making the room very bright at night.
The location was also challenging in terms of noise. There are bars nearby, and especially over the weekend it was extremely loud until late at night, which made it difficult to sleep. It would have been helpful to be informed about this in advance or to have earplugs provided.
Additionally, there was a concerning incident where other guests attempted to enter our room, as they had been mistakenly given our room number and access code. Fortunately, we had locked the door from the inside.
While the host was always polite and apologetic, we were surprised that there was no form of compensation or gesture of goodwill given the inconveniences we experienced.
