Everything was just perfect! We had such a lovely stay in Andrea’s apartment and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Trieste.
Andrea, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We arrived a little later than expected, and he kindly waited for us and took the time to explain everything about the apartment and the city. We really appreciated how much attention and care he put into making our stay special.
One of our favourite details was the breakfast vouchers Andrea gave us. The café is just a short walk from the apartment and has a beautiful view of the canal. Every morning we could enjoy two delicious croissants and two really good coffees there, which was such a lovely way to start the day. Having breakfast with that view made our mornings in Trieste feel amazing.
The apartment itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed: a big and comfortable bed, air conditioning, a spacious room, a balcony, a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge, coffee and tea, and a very clean bathroom with a great shower and good water pressure. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged.
We also absolutely loved the building itself. It has such an authentic Italian atmosphere, and staying there honestly made us feel like we were inside a movie. If you are a cinema lover and want to experience Trieste not just as a regular tourist, but in a more atmospheric and cinematic way, I think this apartment is a perfect choice.
The location is also fantastic. Everything is within walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, and it is very easy to explore the city on foot.
We are truly grateful to Andrea for his hospitality, kindness and attention to detail. He made us feel very welcome, and we would happily recommend this apartment to our friends. We would absolutely stay here again!

Did exactly realize it would be a shared flat with locked rooms but it was no problem!

Lo Studio di Joyce is a very nice b&b in a beautiful ancient building. The room was very big and had everything needed for the stay. The small kitchen with coffee, tea, fridge and a microwave is a good plus as well the small balcony that provides a relax corner. The location is perfect, few minutes walk from the train station as well as from the Great Channel and the city center. It has air conditioning and last but not least it is clean and the owner is helpful.
I would have enjoyed more options for breakfast (I'm vegan and the offer for me was limited) but still it was ok.
