We had a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed, and the view of the river and mountains was absolutely magnificent. The bed was very comfortable, and having an AC unit in the room was a huge plus on warmer days.
The location was one of the best parts. The bus stop was only about a two-minute walk away, and within five minutes we could be at Interlaken Ost, making it very easy to travel anywhere in the region.
The breakfast was also great and saved us a lot of time and money each morning. It made planning our days so much easier. The host was very kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.
We truly have nothing negative to say about our experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Interlaken!

We loved the location and authenticity of Gastoff Schoenegg. The staff were lovely, it was easy to locate via public transport. Our room was spacious, comfortable beds and clean with amazing views. The dining room and terrace were also clean and comfortable with coffee, teas, water and snacks available throughout the day. Breakfast was a fantastic selection of breads, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit, vegetables and juices, just amazing. Also available for guest use were washing & drying facilities.
We had a kettle, two mugs and two biscuits on the little table in our room but no teas, coffee or cream to make your own drinks. This may have been overlooked on our arrival, but it wasn't really a problem as there was tea and coffee available on the terrace.

The views are spectacular. Being able to sit outside with a coffee and look at that view was very special. They breakfast speed had a wide variety of choices.
The pillows are terrible. We each got one very thin pillow and it was like using nothing at all. The mattresses were also very hard.

It had provision for cooking
The staff wasn't very accommodating, there was no veggie or hot food options. I am pregnant so had slight dietary restriction, but there was only very limited option.
There were insects in the room.
