Welcome to Kobe Cabana, a 1000 sq ft duplex vacation rental nestled in the heart of Havelock, North Carolina, home of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Kobe Cabana is conveniently located off of Hwy 70 and Hwy 101, and minutes from the front gate of MCAS Cherry Point. Ideally situated between historic New Bern and the beautiful beaches and charming towns of the Crystal Coast, to include Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort and Emerald Isle. Kobe Cabana is the perfect location for families visiting loved ones stationed at MCAS Cherry Point.
Kobe Cabana sleeps up to four people, featuring 2 bedrooms, each appointed with a queen bed. The master bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with tub/shower. The second bathroom also includes a tub/shower. Linens and towels provided.
This duplex is adjacent to our other vacation rental Patriots Point, VRBO #2218538. Both properties are also listed on Arbnb if you prefer to use that platform. If you are looking for a larger home please check out Coachman Cottage, VRBO#1329209.
Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and dining area with seating for six (with dining table extension), an inviting living area, and a private, fenced backyard with a pergola over the patio, fire-pit, and BBQ grill. Ample parking available with private driveway.
Please be advised the home is equipped with a Ring Doorbell at the front entrance . The camera provides a view of the exterior front door, sidewalk and portions of the front yard. This is the only camera on the property and is for exterior security.
Check-in is 4:00 pm / Check-out is 11:00 am.

We are Rose & Gary, a retired USMC couple who have lived in Havelock for 25 years. We have enjoyed turning our duplex into a cozy vacation rental. We can be reached by phone, text or email and are available should you need our assistance.
Things to Do:
Havelock is centrally located for a vacationer interested in discovering the history, charm, and adventure of our slice of Eastern North Carolina. Within a short half hour drive, you can be touring North Carolina’s first capital at the Tryon Palace, enjoying a Pepsi at its birthplace, spending a day with your toes in the sand, taking a ferry ride out to Cape Lookout, or seeing the wild horses on the Shackleford Banks. And that is just the beginning of the fun our area offers.

We found Kobe Cabana to be the perfect solution for a weekend at the Cherry Point Airshow. The house was clean and comfortable, with nicely appointed bathrooms and kitchen. There were thoughtful touches like snacks, drinks, extra blankets, books, and games. Even though we were only there for a weekend, it was easy to see that this home would be a great fit for a full week’s vacation. There are plenty of good restaurants and attractions close by, plus the beach is just a short drive away. The hosts are very responsive, and check in was a breeze! We would stay here again!

Convenient location to Cherry Point, and other areas of interest. This home is well equipped and quiet, very clean. The host is readily available and communicative, and yet it feels very private and quiet. This was not our first stay here, and we'll definitely return!

The home was immaculate! We felt right at home. Perfect place to stay while driving cross country and attending our son’s graduation at Cherry Point. We stayed 9 days at this property and we didn’t have a single issue. The host was always responsive and very kind, she went above and beyond for us! The property had everything you could possibly think of for a long or short term stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, I slept better than I do at home. They have thought of everything you could possibly want or need and provided it. They had a book with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. My husband worked remotely while there and it was a peaceful place to do that. The nearby beaches are incredible, clean, not overly crowded, and not too far. We might make a trip back just for the beaches alone! We can’t say enough about this stay, it was unquestionably the best place on our cross country road trip! They really have thought of everything. You’d be crazy to not choose this location for your stay in Havelock.

My husband and I have rented this property before and we’re extremely happy. This trip my father and sister also came with us they were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the property. Everything you could think of was provided from beach towels to laundry soap to spices and cookware. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.
