The grounds are clean well kept and beautiful. Pool was warm, clean and refreshing. The food was tasty. Drinks delicious. Staff for the most part were friendly and helpful. The room while older ( could use some maintenance) was clean and a good size. Access to transportation was very easy. Alternative restaurant was excellent! Room was cleaned daily. Great little place with alot of Mexican charm for a couple of nights.
Front desk staff were a little stand- offish I hated after check in being guided to a table to be presold excursions, stays for their other properties etc. The beach is just ok. My sunglasses got stolen from under my towel while I was swimming ( do not take valuables etc to the beach area) Reported it to security at hotel, they acted like they didnt care. Head of security was rude and demanding and then laughed at me after I filled out the loss form with his other staff members. More then a few nights and you could get bored.

Specialty restaurant very good. Buffet restaurant has good. Staff excellent.
Breakfast and Mexican fiesta meal at buffet restaurant are good but lunch and supper at buffet restaurant have declined over the years. I have stayed here seven times and am always bothered that they take away the cushions on the chairs in the interior courtyard so there is no quiet place to sit after 6 pm so you have to go sit by the noisy bar and noisy pool in the evening and early morning.

Nice pool area and the restaurant. Good value for the money. I liked that they had a beach shuttle. We did not realize property was not on the beach as photos are little misleading.
Room was not very clean. Part of the hotel we stayed in was very dated and in need of renovation.
