Staff very helpful
WiFi not the best for doing work

The location was ideal the swimming pool and Jacuzzi was good the meal we had in the restaurant was delicious and very reasonable we were able to check in our bags early ,it would have been a nice touch if they were in our allocated room when we checked in
The shower could have been better unfortunately the ceiling over the shower was flaky, the tea tray was disappointing would have like a hot chocolate and some herbal teas as a option a welcome pack would be handy explaining the times of the pool and the menu for the restaurant and a street map

Buffet breakfast, size of the room on 8th floor. Robe and slippers, massive comfy bed and bedding. Welcome cookies!!!!!
Shower gel kept falling off the shower walls and scaring us

Didn't opt for breakfast - too expensive. Location was a bit far out of the way and surrounded by road works

We liked the pool and jacuzzi, the decor and the artificial trees and leaves, the welcome cookie and the staff. The food was amazing especially the breakfast.
The music was too loud and we think a young family should be put in a room far away from the function, the view over a lower roof, guests should be asked if they want a street view or higher floor etc. You should be able to plug a device into the TV as the channels were very limited.

Comfortable bed and friendly staff
Location - in a noisy area - lots of road works plus entrance east clear

Locatio was good for gig at SWG3
Long wait to check in. Reception would not allow anyone to check in before 3pm without charging extra we arrived at 1430 to find around 24 people hanging round reception to check in after 1500hrs. The queue to check in started moving at 3pm we got to our room at 1530 - an hour wasted 😕

Room and hotel lovely.
Dinner was nice but cold so was sent back.
Too far away for our visit to Hydro. Absolute nightmare getting back. Waited over 2 hours for a taxi.

Da localização.
Não tem minibar no quarto, acústica péssima ! Você escuta todos passando no corredor, portas do outros quartos batendo. Ou seja, realmente uma péssima acústica. Outra nota negativa é encerrar o café da manhã no domingo de 10:30.

Nice hotel and decent room and good bed. Breakfast was good and I always like haggis on the menu.
I used the pool which is nice to have but which you have pay for which seemed odd. Gents changing facilities were OK but 2 showers didn't work and 1 had no gel. Jacuzzi didn't work on one day either.
Pool was quite small and gents changing room needs maintenance.

The lobby on first glance is lovely. Loved the “She’s a belter” wall
There was lots of confusion checking in, even though I had given the rooming list and payment amounts of each person to the hotel the day before check in.
Closer look at the lobby it was not very clean and very tired - this applies to the entire hotel.
The chairs in the lobby were filthy- like things had been spilled on all of them and had stained the fabric.
There were 4 of us in a room but only 3 towels so I had to request more.
The night manager was not knowledgable and actually caused a lot of confusion with our group. We went to ask about pool access for the morning and he told us we didn’t have pool access and that it’s £5 each. This was incorrect as we did have pool access but he proceeded to argue with our group.
Our room (321) had very shabby carpet, some of it being a trip hazard as it was very loose in places. Some of the bedside lamps did not work and the curtain wands were not connected.
The leisure centre staff did not appear very happy in their work- really not a nice impression when you’re going to treat yourself to a nice start to the day in the pool area.
The changing rooms (we only used female so can’t comment on male) had trip hazards with those mats which are clearly very old and turned up at the edges. I caught my toes under one and stumbled forward. If my friend hadn’t t caught me I would have gone face first into the bench. I did report this on exiting so I do hope it’s been rectified.
The soap dispenser in one shower was empty.
The pool area: the tiles around are black with mildew. There was a plaster on the ground. While we were in the hot tub the staff came to test the water and did not do this discreetly- very unnerving while you’re in there as a customer!
The spiral staircase is very dangerous- it’s so tight and it’s also very rusty.
The entire pool and spa area were tired and dirty.

Facilities were good
Paying for the pool separately

The breakfast was not included, which did disappoint us
And also having to pay for the swimming pool, that’s why we chose the hotel
5.0
The leisure facilities were good, although I was a bit concerned about the very steep and slippery spiral stairs in the pool area. The location was handy for getting to the shops but was an issue on arrival due to road works/ broken down bus which made us late in arriving.
The spiral stairs in the pool area seemed a bit hazardous. The view from the room wasn’t very nice. The cost of the parking.
7.0
Property was lovely and clean.
The prices were ridiculous. You don’t notify additional swim costs until your confirmation comes through that you have booked. Furthermore, the swimming pool is extremely small and then part of the pool is blocked off for swimming lessons.
For a large glass of wine you are charging £10. We literally sat down and reviewed the menu and decided to go elsewhere! I don’t believe in overpaying - it’s just greed!
5.0
breakfast is always good, staff are friendly usually rooms are clean and spacious and swimming pool is a comfortable temp to swim in.
I was not impressed that there is now a charge for using the swimming pool! usually when I travel down to stay my daughter and I like to use the pool on a few occasions! when you pay to stay at a hotel it should include facilities to be used free of charge. was also disappointed with evening food not a fan of Roman style pizza
8.0
Room was large and spacious. Great spacious lifts - meaning not having to wait for one. Good quality offering at breakfast. Check out was easy.
Lighting quite poor - more mood lighting than anything. Shower is a waterfall - not a lot of pressure and takes a while to get really hot. Just hair shampoo and conditioner provided.
Ordered a few sides when we arrived - they were not value for money. The mac and cheese - warm pasta with a bit of cheese on top, triple cooked chips had been kept warm and not crispy like described.

Fabulous rooms and car parking available
Breakfast not great. Food just about warm

The hotel is in the city centre which is convenient for public transport use and getting to attractions.
Our room had no fridge, which is an inconvenient if you want to keep your extra drinks in the room. There was nothing attractive, looking out our window, as there was only a car park and empty street corner.
10.0
There was everything to like. We had no complaints and would be very happy to stay again. Any of the staff members we met were very curtious and helpful.
As I said above there was everything to like about the hotel and nothing to dislike.
6.0
Location, pool and room size were good. Staff were friendly too.
The restraint was very disappointing, they refunded us for uncooked meal however they brought starters and main courses out together and the quality was severely lacking.
In terms of the rooms it’s all a bit dated and worn. The carpet was holding on for dear life which the kids kept tripping over, the sofa was ripped and the mattresses were like slabs of concrete.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They also have the most delicious cookies available in the evening
I have no negative comments

Location and car park are excellent, very helpfull staff in all areas.
Wallpaper and carpets in corridors looking a little tired.

Room size was good, reception staff friendly
Leisure Club understaffed. Swimming pool jacuzzi closed during stay (no prior notice of this). Lack of padlocks in changing area (pool wasn’t even busy, only 10% of lockers used??) expected to leave private items at reception or by poolside - poor. My daughter was sick on the bed - no replacement mattress available, mattress sprayed with bleach & covered over by mattress cover with expectation this was OK??? Smell of bleach was overpowering & fact that this was not really sanitary. Requested to change rooms which was granted but replacement room was a downgrade due to availability- had to spend the remainder of our stay in smaller room having paid for bigger family room.

Lovely rooms and nice clean pool
No warm cookies on arrival anymore, check in person didn’t tell us to put car details in, you have to pay for use of the pool now. Very much reduced service to previously stayed. Apart from the breakfast staff, they were fab.

Location was ok and the hotel is very nice on entering
We booked into the leisure facilities, paid £10 to use for an hour with the main reason being to relax in jaccusi before getting ready to go out for dinner, however when we got there we got in to see the jacuzzi wasn’t working and when we asked we were told it was broken however we weren’t informed of this when booking it so were disappointed, we decided to use the sauna and steam room however these were tiny and had to stand for ages to get a space. The stairs leading up is a very tight spiral staircase which are extremely dangerous when walking up them wet from pool. The pool was really busy so we left very disappointed and not relaxed . I feel this should be included in price of hotel and definitely not worth the extra charge

Location. I take my grandson there every other month, he has autism and he likes it there

Room, nice sized and refurbished.
The restaurant was awful. Most expensive meal of 10 day trip. Worst meal too. 2 steaks chewy and bad. Worst fish too. Had worm in salad. (Potato was great with fish and chips). No 2nd drink offered, no dessert and waitress disappeared. After 45 minutes plates taken, we finally were able to get our check. Please stay awY from restaurant.

Comfortable beds and nice lobby/bar downstairs.
I booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool and I was prepared to pay a bit extra for that facility. On arrival I was told that to use the pool would cost me £5. While not a lot of money I thought this was unnecessary.
7.0
Location was excellent, rooms warm and cosy.
Didn't know before we came that the pool was fully booked until checking out time next day, disappointing for grandchildren as it was part of their Xmas treat.
Also lifts were so busy kept breaking down, left sitting in lobby soaking from rain, and one grandson terrified to use it, he walked the 7 flights of stairs, up and down,

Hotel was comfortable and staff were excellent. In particular Marta and Wittoria at Reception and Valerie in the restaurant. Service was always quick and courteous.
Having a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were added bonuses.

Great location, friendly staff, love the bar/restaurant it’s trendy and great food selection. Lovely welcome cookies. Can’t fault the rooms. Love that it has a pool/spa facilities. Great underground parking at the hotel. Our go to hotel when staying in Glasgow.
Not much we don’t like. The only con would be duvet was very thin and more milk/tea than two sachets would have been better for a twin room.
7.0
Hotel is lovely and staff were friendly/helpful
The walls between the rooms are pretty hollow and the walls along the corridor side of the room . You could hear doors banging quit loudly as well as wardrobe doors opening and closing fairly loudly too. Room is nice but thought it was a little on the dark side lighting wise. TV’s could do with updating. Torn leather on the booth seats in the bar needs sorted. Massive tears on them
