Great location, superb hotel

Excellent location, great hotel even though there was some work ongoing it did not spoil our stay. Staff were excellent

Very helpful and friendly staff

The hotel is currently undergoing major renovations and some of the facilities like the restaurant were not available. We were given a modernised room which was excellent with a lovely walk in shower. The meal in the bar was good and breakfast was very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

A satisfactory stay. pretty much as expected and reasonable value for money.

My stay was quite satisfactory, thank you. For what it was I thought that comparatively it was top end of the cost spectrum.

I will not book this hotel again during my frequent travels to glasgow.

Breakfast was good, location of the hotel was fine. The room was not looking good with very old untidy dull looking carpet. The rest all was fine for the value of the money.

The room was not looking good with very old untidy dull looking carpet. This made me unpleasant. which i felt it was not value for the money. As per booking.com, the charge was aed 1953 for 3 days but booking early the dates was not confirmed hence i paid at the time of the stay completion hence they charged me with each day different rates for the room and charged me with an extra of 150 pounds which they sid it will be refunded for what i did not use for. But till now it not refunded.

It states 4 star and it’s more like a 2 I paid more money for a 4* because I was taking my children and I was very disappointed.

Nice hotel in great central area, food good and friendly staff will be great when renovations are finished

Renovated room was lovely and clean, bar was nice, staff friendly and great breakfast

It is being renovated at the Moment and although no disruption was caused, it was disappointing as I didn’t know about the renovations at time of booking, also the pool area was a bit run down and in need of upgrading.

We enjoyed Glasgow, but were very disappointed with Booking.com and Marriott for not informing us of the refurbishment

It was as being refurbished so no restaurant available. Had the eat in the bar/foyer area.

We had not been told there would be inconvenience due to refurbishment work. Had we known we would not have stayed at this hotel.

Terrible, old vents moved room same old vents TV not working had to get maintenance up twice, supposed to be relaxing night fir my daughter and I, having to pre book breakfast through phone, nit working had to call several times and passed through to answer machine, I won't book here again, rooms run diwn and breakfast nit up to standard.

Location was great. Accessibility was great breakfast was lovely.

Noise from 08.00. It was very loud from just before 08.00 in room 228 Defo there should not be vacuuming or driling at 08.00 from end of corridor and no waste paper bags. In either room or bathroom. Light bulb gone in room 226. And light switch at bedside not working in 226. Also was given map of Glasgow on my departure. Could have used that well if given on arrival

Bar area and large tvs. Choice of gins. Staff at breakfast time.

Whole hotel much too hot, especially bedroom. Air conditioning made no difference, just made a noise. Bed too hard.
