Good location, spacious units. A few minor upgrades would greatly improve guest experience.

The unit was beautiful and spacious. The grounds were really well kept and it was quiet. The location was great in relation to attractions but you definitely need to have a car to enjoy them. Great set up for family travel.

The kitchen was missing many basic cooking items(baking sheet/coffee filters/scissors/etc). The master bed had wooden slat bed frame and every time anyone moved it creaked VERY loudly. This also made the head of the bed angled to the floor:/ Replacing the slats with a piece of plywood would make a world of difference for guests. Sleep was very illusive due to this issue. The staff could not locate a pool key until a day and a half before we finished our trip. It was extremely hot out and we were a 15 minute drive to the beach and parking is very expensive there. In the end our son was stung by a Jelly Fish so we were not able to swim very often. This is typically a highlight for kids, especially with that heat.

Carpet torn/dirty/pet? Urine/closet door off hinges/knobs falling off dressers/2of 3 tvs didn’t work-never fixed even though we requested repairs twice/kitchen with minimal plates etc/pool not monitored-loud boom box with rap music cursing/coffee pot didn’t work/clothes from previous tenant left in dresser/sliding door to deck wouldn’t open which denied access to the small deck-vertical blinds falling apart

The grounds were nice. We were busy and didn’t get the opportunity to use the pool. Overall it was a good value. We were initially placed in the wrong condo on a different property that was unappealing, dingy, and too small for what we had reserved. They fixed this the next morning and got us in the correct place but offered no compensation for lost time for having to relocate our belongs or for the fist night stay in a very subpar condo.

In look for the washer/dryer I opened a bifold door with the air unit inside of it and the filter and closet were covered in dust. Looks like the filter has never been replaced and the ceiling fans in all the rooms were very dusty. The blinds in master bedroom provided little privacy because they were all broken. The master tub was clogged and the hall bathroom sink was clogged. Holes in walls. There was also a roach in the master bathroom that we killed.

It was good for what we needed it for but I definitely will look for a different place next year.

The room was nice and clean.

The room was nice but the WiFi was HORRIBLE. Depending on what room in the resort you were on your phone just went on SOS mode. Also, the sheets on the bed were those slippery silky sheets which I’m not crazy about at all. That’s probably each person’s individual preference though. Also, fortunately my son decided to not drive his motorcycle on vacation which was good cause no motorcycles are allowed into the resort. The pool stayed packed the whole time with what I think were families that lived there.

The space and value as well as location

The TV controllers didn't work in LR had to do manually. Bedroom TV not at all. As soon as we got in we had to call maintenance to fix the a/c. There as a broken chair on patio that was never removed even after telling someone.

hidden gem

it was very nice and enjoyable.

it started out terrible. my room wasn’t ready until 6:30. we showed up at 2:30 because on booking website it said check in from 3-5. at the office Check-in is at 4. we drove 7 hours and we’re ready to lay down. what a mess however Ellen and Ms Fran took care of the situation. we revived a meal ticket were given access to another room until ours finished being cleaned due to the owner still being in our rental unaware that we booked it for the weekend. those women were amazing which turned our nightmare around tremendously. .

Ince Fran in the rental office made sure we had a decent condo, it was a great stay!!

The second condo we were assigned was perfect. seemed to be recently refurbished. Had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and bed. it was also super clean/

The original condo we were assigned was appalling! No sheets on bed. Bedding on the floor. Industrial bulb for dining room light. kitchen under stocked. No complaints regarding second condo.

I really like how big the space was. everyone had their own bed, each room had their own bathroom. there was plenty of space.

The only issue is the listing stated it had WiFi but check with the office because my room had internet but no wifi so no one had service. the office stated the owner never set up wifi but they should have a back up. I couldn’t even use my phone at all.

Took 4 days to fix TV and 5 days to speak about being compensated.

The location was good. Although it was not my first choice. I never got to see the room that was orginally signed to me. The office failed to leave a key for the late arrival check in.

I got the run around for speaking with the manager. They never referred me another manager for assistance until on the 5th day I requested to speak with corporate. Then they gave me the property manager.

The place was nice and big.

3rd floor, the toilet seat was broken and would pinch our butt when we were using it in the master bathroom, the toilet handle was broken or broke not sure in other bathroom (told the office the second day we were there, no one came to fix it) the balcony sliding door was extremely hard to open and close. the map that was given was so hard to understand (not enough street names to actually understand where your at specially when arriving late and in the dark) the pool key that was given did not work (the office worker even went through them and took the ones that didn’t work out already… she had to give me a room number that was close to mine but not ours cause she couldn’t find it) when I went and paid my card got declined 2x cause she tried to charge me 11,340.00 instead of the 1,000 something I owed. the second day we were there we went to the beach and came back our code to our room didn’t work I called and called and finally someone called us back about 20 mins later…. they never updated that we paid I guess in the morning so they changed the code. this trip was planned out for a long time and really wanted to enjoy it as much as possible, just was a let down.

Myrtle Beach trip at River Oaks Golf Resort

The location was great and our accommodations were what we thought we were getting. The room had everything we needed in the kitchen and a working Washer/Dryer in the room, which was very helpful. It was a good value for a weeks stay.

We were disappointed we got moved from the World Tour Grand Villas to the Fairways resorts, that stunk because all the rest of our party was at the other location. The bathrooms should have been cleaned better, there was mold in the showers. The beds were not great, the master king was actually two doubles pushed together. The floor was a bit warped and pitched a few toes cause of it. The Grounds group overseeing our area was very unpleasant towards us and our kids for using the common area and pool area.
