Beautiful villa on large grounds in the countryside. Large pool and lots of seating. Rustic decor inside but all facilities that you would need.

La struttura è bellissima, accogliente, colorata e con dettagli di tutto rispetto. Presenta un giardino molto grande e curato e una cucina professionale super attrezzata anche per le comitive più grandi.
Niente, è tutto perfetto! Peccato solo per la tenda esterna che per un problema tecnico non si poteva chiudere.

Quirky converted farmhouse. Clean, comfortable, secure. Breakfast variety fine, but basically Italian (ie. coffee and sugary things). Quiet, rural location, relatively well placed for those walking the Via Francigena. (Owner may provide transport to path.)
Not a case of not liking, but guests who expect more than basic hostel-style accommodation might be disappointed.. Staffed by men. Fine, all were friendly but the absence of a woman's touch contributes to an impersonal element. Car or other transport is essential for accessing range of restaurants in nearby Altopascio (we can recommend in particular cafe/bar La Dogana).
