We stayed for a week at this lovely place, and absolutely loved it. If you want a base in the Aeolian Islands for a longer stay, then Salina is the best-placed, and for a mixture of peace and quiet and practicality, Leni is just about perfect. Rinella port is well-connected to all the other islands. It's ten mins on the (+/- hourly) bus or 30mins on foot. Think twice before walking up from Rinella though, as it's quite a climb. The amazing views are worth the short distance out of Rinella though, with incredible sunsets, Lipari and Vulcano islands nearby and Filicudi and Alicudi away in the distance. We stayed in the 3bedroom apartment. It's simply decorated, but homely and has everything you need for a medium-length stay. We cooked for ourselves on three nights. It's easy to get ingredients and drink from the nearby (surprisingly well-stocked) shop in Leni, five mins walk away. Francesca the owner was super-welcoming and helpful, and Johanna, who served us the AMAZING home-cooked breakfast, was so kind and warm-hearted. In short, we had a blissful time, and would highly recommend this great place. Further recommendations for Enza car hire next door (don't believe the online stuff about grumpy service, we found them fantastic) and the newly-opened Il Dus restaurant, a five min walk from the hotel, for pizzas and incredible grilled meat. For boat trips, we had a wonderful trip to Stromboli/Panarea with Relax Cruises. And we had a superb boat trip around Filicudi with Giada from Filicudi Experience, after popping over there for the day on the public ferry (which are so easy to book/use). Walking on Salina is fantastic too, and it's easy to find the trailheads to the paths up to the summits of Monte dei Porri and Monte Fossa delle Felci which are both within 20-40mins walk. ENJOY!!!

Ottima struttura sull’isola di Salina. Location con vista mozzafiato, in particolare la terrazza su cui viene servita direttamente al tavolo una splendida colazione. Ogni mattina sono offerte torte e marmellate fatte in casa dalla proprietaria con i prodotti della sua azienda. Appartamenti forniti con tutto il necessario per passare una vacanza all’insegna del relax e la tranquillità. Personale sempre disponibile e con valori per la tradizione. Molto graditi i servizi di erogazione di acqua gratuita e la disponibilità di attrezzatura da spiaggia.
Nonostante sia gradita la possibilità di disconnettersi quando si é in vacanza, purtroppo nell’area non c’é campo e il Wi-Fi fornito dalla struttura era funzionante solo nelle aree comuni e non in camera, comportando un certo disagio al perdurare della situazione. Altra segnalazione riguarda il malfunzionamento della caldaia, di cui la proprietaria era stata informata.

Abbiamo molto apprezzato la bellezza della terrazza panoramica che offre una vista sulle altre isole incantevole. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, con spiegazioni dettagliate sulle cose da non perdere assolutamente il tutto accompagnato da una spremuta fresca e un dolcino. Le stanze sono accoglienti con un arredamento essenziale. La colazione è stata abbastanza variegata e sempre con prodotti freschi. La posizione è comoda se si vuole godere di luoghi vicino Leni, altrimenti ci si impiega una mezz’oretta con un mezzo di trasporto privato.
