It’s full of things to do even on a rainy day that we couldn’t go out for a tour. The hotel itself is magnificent with 5 onsens that one can enjoy at any weather. A convenience store is also within reach if you need food, personal items and even souvenirs. It also has a beautiful outdoor garden with breathtaking views. I also love that the hotel provides breakfast and dinner buffets with sumptuous dishes. I will definitely comeback.

The Lawsons inside was very convenient and the cave onsen, while quite dated, had a gorgeous view. The lobby was beautiful and updated, but don’t expect that from the rest of the hotel.
They told us the last shuttle bus was due at 21:30, but we arrived over 5 mins earlier, and waited 20 minutes. It never came. After days of hiking, the 25 minute (not very scenic) walk wasn’t a welcome trek. Additionally, many parts of the hotel were kind of worn. There were many leaks in the public areas, and a very musty humid smell and the Japanese style room we stayed in must not have been renovated for decades. We felt a bit catfished by the images.
