Exceptional

Exceptional resort - the staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our villa was incredible and had a fantastic view of the ocean and sunset. The staff also added some beautiful romantic touches for our honeymoon. I will definitely visit again!

There are a lot of weddings at the location. Our villa was next to one of the wedding locations. They started with loud noise at 8 am

Stunning villas with all the luxuries we were hoping to have for a special holiday. Friendly, helpful staff and lots of choice of restaurants and bars on the resort site.

Guests who 'reserve' multiple poolside sunbeds with towels and belongings, but are not present at the pool using them for hours.

Hands down the best service we’ve ever received. From the moment we were checked in at the lobby to the exceptional service from our personal butler and at every restaurant within the resort all the way to check out.

Overall is good

The view is fantastic , the villa is clean and the staff are amazing.

Understaffed, we were once waiting for about half an hour before a butler picked us up , the staff told the ratio is 1:15 villas which was bit surprising considering the price

The best reception and friendly hospitality. Intimate service! Well-qualified employees…Everything made our tour perfect!

Some equipment needs to be upgraded. For example, hair driers can choose the brand and performance that meet Ayana's positioning.

absolutely incredible!

Absolutely everything was wonderful! we also stayed at four seasons (jimbaran and ubud), soori, six senses and ungansan resort and ayana was our favourite. The villas are HUGE and perfect for families, the facilties are incredible (kids pools, slides, kids club, rock bar, therapy pool, shopping etc) but the staff / service was the best we experienced in our 6 weeks in bali. They were extra accommodating for a early check in and very late check out (5pm) as we had a late flight home to London. The value for money is exceptional, we paid over double the room rate in other hotels for much smaller rooms and far less facilities / less impressive service.

Great location and wonderful facilities kids played in the pool all day

the villa had a musty old smell that you could not get rid of also full price for kids over 9 years so go on food package if offered

There are much better villa options in Bali

The employees were great but very overworked. They need more staff….the rooms were not clean and there were lots of bugs in the room dead and Alive. Not what you would expect from a 5 star property.

Luxury resort with so much to do and explore

We spoilt ourselves and booked a cliff side villa with pool as a belated 25th anniversary present for 7 nights and it was amazing: quiet, relaxing, yet very luxurious. They are many resort pools to explore, we enjoyed the delicious breakfasts at the Dava restaurant and our butler took the experience up a notch in terms of luxury and convenience - such as organising restaurant bookings and answering all our questions with grace. The villa also gave us priority booking to the Rock Bar every night so we could jump the queue, which is a definite plus (weather permitting). The spa is fabulous, however a little too pricey considering how many spa places are available on the island. Beware Seminyak is not actually very close to drive to (especially when the traffic builds up) so not an option to 'pop' over regularly in my view.

My only gripe was the lack of AC at the gym - which was a common complaint from hotel guests. The heat and humidity were oppressive, and the AC did not seem to be working, making for a very sweaty and uncomfortable workout every day!

Marvelous !

We stayed at the villa’s ayana and all was like in a dream ! We had butlers and all was well explained. We could enjoy the pools and the activities the resort had :) It s for sure the best hotel I went. If we come once more in Bali, we probably willl stay there.
