A very friendly welcome and wonderful staff. The accommodation and dining were good. Game drives available twice a day and plenty of wildlife
Communal dining on the first night without being asked. Game drives involved following wildlife rather than just observing, which we thought was intrusive for the animals.

It was all so beautiful. Very personal, small groups perfect, and the park rangers were of real added value. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really did their best to make it as pleasant as possible.

Truly the most incredible experience my husband and I have had. We booked this lodge last minute after the original lodge we had booked had to cancel due to flooding and we are so happy it worked out the way it did. The location of the lodge is relatively close to the airport and we saw an elephant and baby zebras on the drive in. The room was beautiful, food was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Our room was cleaned every morning while on the morning drive and we were treated with chocolates and a turn down service after returning from our evening drive. The chef was so impressive, you will never go hungry. Oupa and Excellence were our guide/spotter team and they are unbelievably talented. They found the big 5 within our first three game drives and focused on locating animals our group wanted to see the most. This place will exceed every expectation you have. We will definitely be coming back to this game lodge and I have recommended it to all my friends and family.
