Zowel het pand, de kamer en de rest rondom het pand waren erg fijn en sfeervol. Het is een centrale locatie als je naar andere plaatsjes wilt. Een auto hebben is wel een must. Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren die je graag en snel helpen. Ook een verblijf waar je fijn kan blijven als je een dagje niet weg wil bij het verblijf, door hoe het is ingericht qua faciliteiten.

We loved this beautiful gem in the countryside! It’s such a calm and peaceful place, away from all the crowds, while still being just a short drive from restaurants and everything you might need. The pool was warm and very pleasant, and there is definitely no shortage of space to relax by the pool, enjoy a meal, or simply sit outside with a drink. The rooms on the first floor have their own private balconies, but even if you don’t have one, there are plenty of lovely outdoor spaces where you can sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. The apartment was cozy and full of old Italian charm, while the kitchen had all the essential equipment we needed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms also have air conditioning, keeping them cool and comfortable even on the warmest summer days, so the heat was never an issue. The host was also wonderful — very kind, attentive, and always welcoming with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

If I had to mention a few small things, I would suggest adding a mattress topper to the beds, as they consist of two single mattresses and there is a slight gap in the middle where you can sink in a little. 😊 It would also be nice to have a blanket available, even during the summer. That said, I didn’t ask the host about this, so they may very well have one available upon request. One small seasonal note that isn’t really related to the property itself: if you visit during the summer, especially in the countryside, be prepared for some insects. They are naturally quite present during this time of year and are difficult to avoid, but this is simply part of staying in such a beautiful rural setting.

We had a shady table to enjoy meals outside, and the pool was perfect for cooling down after a hot day. The recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area were spot on.

The stove top took a long time to heat up.

Het keukentje in het appartement was wel erg klein, jammer dat er geen buitenkeuken was. Dat had het afgemaakt!
