Amazing location, beautiful resort. As others said, it is far from other things, so eating in the restaurant is easiest, which I enjoyed. Really beautiful place, like paradise. You can also rent a bike to ride around to nearby places. Helpful staff on the whole.
One of the beds in my room was filthy! Long hairs in it, lots of dirty flecks. Really basic thing. Thankfully there were two beds and the other was fine. Pity this basic thing let them down, hence 8 not 10.
As others said, might be better to book a boat trip elsewhere. Mine was from them, was ok but nothing special, a large boat with motor. (Also as it’s low season they didn’t have quite a few of the cocktail ingredients but he made me a nice alternative and comped one, so no big deal).

Friendly staff, well kept gardens and pool. Buffett breakfast when available due to number of guest staying. Good if you like to just stay and relax in one spot. Tours were good just overpriced. Staff would go above and beyond to make your staff comfortable.

The outside/pool area was okay.
The garden was nice as well, and some games are present.
During the second day of our stay we got a mail asking to write a review that indicated not to compare but if we do anyway, to compare it to similar resorts. As we stayed in a few 4* riverside hotels we can make the comparison with this in mind...
- Room was dirty and smelled humid and like mold
- Shower was dirty, black stains on the edges and walls (see point 1)
- Drinkingwater was offered in a jar not in bottles, upon opening the jar the water/jar was not clean. So we ended up buying bottles of drinking water.
- Beds are hard and far from comfortable
- The pictures showed two hooks for mosquito nets including the nets itself, we booked a family room (two beds). Only one hook was present and no net. As we were a couple we only needed one but pictures did not represent te room correctly and we ended up using our own net.
Booking states this as a 4 star resort, don't be fooled. 3 stars are indicated on Google, I feel this is a better indication. Maybe even the still on the lower end of a 3 star rating. Not sure where all the 10's and 9's in the other ratings are coming from..
