Good value for money

The room was okay. The hotel onsen was very nice. There were few people staying, probably because of the bad reviews, so it was in fact very enjoyable, having all the onsen almost for myself. The lobby was all in showa style and spacious and made you think how vibrant this place must have been 40 years ago. It must have been quite a luxurious hotel then. If you like to enjoy the atmosphere of a place past its prime, witness a slow decline in progress, this is a place to go. It’s like reading a Chekhov’s novel. To sum up, after reading all the negative reviews I didn’t expect much and in that sense it exceeded my expectations. The room was indeed old, but sufficiently clean, and the hotel has its own kind of charm

Traveller’s nightmare

The first room was so dirty (mold, stains on mattress, spiderwebs on AC), it was impossible to stay there. After informing staff about all these problems, I was given an upgrade to a bigger room. The second room wasn’t as dirty, but had many problems too. Small stains on walls and furniture. Lukewarm water coming out of shower, poor water pressure... The whole hotel was probably very nice place a few decades ago, but the former glory (if there was one in the first place) is nowhere to be seen. I would never go there again. // The only good thing about this place is its stuff. Very kind and helpful even in the hard times that corona brought for travel industry. If it wasn’t for them I would have canceled my stay.....

Not worth a single penny. Bad stay.

Nothing.

The entire hotel is outdated and seems like a 1920s motel. There was no internet in the rooms. This wasn't mentioned in the room details. The bathroom was so small that you cannot use it without getting hit on the walls. All facilities inside the room was outdated. Centuries behind. We had a two night stay and left the place after one night even though we lost the money for the second night. This place is not even worth a single yen. Please do not stay here and Booking.com shouldn't be suggesting this place.

かき氷食べ放題が良かった。部屋が広く開放感があった。大浴場と個室にもお風呂があり助かった。

部屋にあったお茶の器が全部汚れていて洗われてなかった。
