Fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas range and eat at Island opens up to a large gathering area lined in Knotty pine. The gathering area features, a large dining room table which seats 10 people comfortably, gas fireplace, flat screen TV with cable all surrounded by windows with views of the lake. A 300± sf deck with lots of seating and gas grill extends the living space with steps down to 46 feet of sandy beach with dock on calm water near Mayfield Marina. Row boat provided. A spiral staircase leads to upstairs media room with second TV, two bedrooms and full bath. - Master on Main with King Bed - 1st Bedroom Upstairs with King - 2nd Bedroom Upstairs with Queen - Media Room features two Queen Futons provides sleeping accommodations for and additional 4 guests. - 1 Full Bath up with shower - 1/2 Bath down - Pets Considered - 5 mile drive to shopping - 45 minutes northwest of Albany - 45 minute drive to Saratoga - 25 minutes drive from the New York State Thruway/I90 exit 27 We now have a new air hockey table

We found the cottage to be well stocked, comfortable, clean, and in very good condition. It was great to have the little labels taped around the house offering hints, such which light switch is for which light fixture.
The location of the cottage is excellent. The neighborhood is nice and quite and it is also very walkable. The cottage being located in a nook in the lake made using the lake really great because unless a wind was coming from the north, there would be very few in any waves on the water. Having access to the row boat, paddle boat, and kayaks was amazing, which allowed us to really take advantage of the lake. Also, I have had the time of my life fishing here. Some really great fishing spots with tons of bass can be found about 5 minutes away from the home by row boat.
Last but not least, Marilyn was wonderful host that was responsive and caring. I sure hope to come back to this cottage in the future.

The whole experience was fantastic. Marilyn answered any questions we had and the cottage had almost anything we would need. Location is ideal. The lake is beautiful. Close to grocery stores, ice cream, breweries. Had an amazing long weekend with great friends.

House was perfect for a family get together with my sister & mom. House is charming & cozy and stocked with everything you could need! Loved mornings on the expansive deck, days on our own private beach/dock, and evenings around the giant dining table! The lake is stunning & we enjoyed kayaking, row boating, swimming & fishing. Could see this becoming a tradition! Thanks to Marilyn for a wonderful, stress-free vacation!!

We had a great stay last week! The house was very clean and well-stocked - from kitchen or grilling cookware, to extra sunscreen, to extra kayaks - everything we needed was here! The parking was plenty for a truck with boat trailer, and the dock was perfect for a jon boat. The lake was great for kayak exploration, and we found a couple of solid fishing spots. Thank you for hosting!

The photos on the listing don’t do justice to how lovely this home is. The house itself is great! We enjoyed the cable, wi-fi, kitchen, amenities, etc. Everything our family needed was available. There was a private sandy beach with kayaks and a paddle boat that we all loved. We had a great time. Marilyn is a great host and hope to come back next summer!!

Property was exactly as advertised. Great location. Roomy and open. Awesome back deck. Private beach and dock. Well stocked. Was able to rent a boat at nearby Reets Marina and dock at property to pick up drop off passengers.

The house sits right on the lake and includes the use of two kayaks, a paddle boat and a row boat. My son and his family joined us from St. Paul, along with my daughter and her family from NY. We had a spectacular time! Marilyn, the host could not have been more accommadating. The house was cozy and and large enough to comfortably sleep 9 of us. We had a grand time. It was simply the perfect setting. We will be back.

We stayed at Marilyn’s wonderful property for a long weekend while attending a concert in Saratoga springs. The property is beautiful and clearly well loved by the owner and it’s family. It has charm, it’s comfortable, and makes you feel right at home all while lakeside with amenities to enjoy the lake and your stay inside in case it rains, like our weekend for one night. Definitely recommend and will hopefully stay again next summer. Thanks Marilyn!

This is a beautiful lake front home. Three bedrooms with large beds. The upstairs loft also has two futons and a great set up for kids with TV and video games. We enjoyed using the kayaks and even saw a bald eagle. We rented a pontoon boat near by at Reets Marina for two days and we’re able to dock the boat at the camp! This house has everything you need and holds true to the listing. The only down side was the overall cleanliness and lack of proper maintenance. With a few changes it could go from good to excellent. The beach area had old dock tires & pvc pipes. The air conditioning worked but was very obvious never cleaned. The one in the down stairs bedroom was putting out a smell. It was a very hot week we stayed in August and ac was a must. Also we were lucky the lake was water was high which isn’t always the case. The entrance porch had a extra fridge which was very handy but again the porch needed to be organized and cleaned up! Marilyn was awesome and even checked in to make sure we didn’t have any issues! Overall a very nice place!

It was a very nice cottage/camp setting. Nice little beach and seating area down by the water. It’s in a little cove so it’s not super busy and is nice and quiet. Love the spiral staircase and porches. Overall a very nice stay.

Cottage/ home is located right on the lake amongst the tall trees. The landscape was adorned with pretty flowers and fern along the steps down to the water-dandy bottom beach made or 8 year old happy swimming and jumping off the dock.
We enjoyed the use of the paddle boat, row boat and two kayaks. We ventured to and from the sandy island that turns out to be about 1 mile from the house.
The location was and beach was perfect for our small sailboat that we were able to take out both days-weather and wind were
great!!
Inside the cottage, everything was provided - we had a ton of fun playing the air hockey game, and enjoying our meals on the nice long table that was also great foe evening game playing….morning and evening coffees on the porch everyday were the way to start and end each day. Thank you so much! We cannot wait to return.
