About this house rental
The rates reflected here are for one unit only - which can sleep 5-6 guests (depending on amount of children).
Rocky Manor is a private seasonal lakefront retreat directly on the shores of the Great Sacandaga Lake. If you are familiar with the lake, We are located at “flagpole point" located in the Town of Day. Our family owned PRIVATE 2 acre lakeside lot has a 400 ft private sandy beach, a private island, and beautiful sunset views. We are "pet friendly" There are other cabins located on the property. There is plenty of space for all!! "Placid 1 and 2" is a duplex that is fully furnished and sleeps 5 to 10 people depending on space requested. Please indicate number of guests - as rates change depending on size of party. Please check out our other cabins on the property located at Rocky Manor - at 2625 South Shore road - Hadley, NY.
Amenities include: outdoor fireplace, charcoal grill, rowboat, paddle boat, boat mooring and 1 dock slip (for larger boats upon availability), wifi, basic cable and portable AC unit for each side. A kayak is also on the property to be shared with owners and their guests as well.
We are within minutes of Northville and approximately 35 minutes from downtown Lake George and Saratoga Springs.
This is a seasonal rental, we do not provide full-time whole house heating. There are portable space heaters provided in case of unseasonably cold weather. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged with a limit of 1 pet per unit (special arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis if more than 1). In addition - we have a limit of guests as well. Additional guests may be accommodated at an additional price - please inquire at time of booking.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Rocky Manor! The beach and Island are so much fun and the views are unbelievable!! I love that it was all on the same side of the road. A lot of places up here the houses are on one side of a very windy road and you have to cross it to get to the lake. So this is a huge bonus when you have kids! There is another cabin on the property and we got along great with the family that was staying there so it made the beach even more fun for the kids!! But just keep that in mind if you're looking to be alone.We rented both sides of the cabin and it was perfect for our family of eight to spread out. The cabin is a bit dated so it's a lot more like glamping (don't worry, there's Wi-Fi lol) but if that's your thing like it is ours then you will be fine. It is also well water so bring bottled water for drinking if you're not used to hard water. If you want modern amenities like a fancy stove and dishwasher, this is not the place for you. But in the end when you are enjoying this gorgeous property and the surrounding area, all you really need is a place to lay your head at the end of the day.The owners were great and super accommodating ! They even shipped us my son's brand new journal he accidentally left behind which was very appreciated.We would definitely stay here again!!!

Rocky Manor is a great place to stay! The beach is excellent and Bob keeps it clean and well maintained. The cabin was clean, plenty of hot water, cable, and a portable a/c unit. Bob is an outstanding host. He makes himself available, ensures everything is ok with the cabins, and goes above and beyond to help in any way he can. I can't say enough good things about him.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location! Walk right out the back door to a beautiful beach front! Perfect for a family with young children. Great place to just unplug and relax. Definitely going back!
