We had the most wonderful stay at Apartmento Signora, and it exceeded all our expectations. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, full of character, charm and personality. The decor is simply stunning, with its wonderfully weathered walls, antique touches, ornate furnishings, beautiful chandeliers and artistic details. It has a romantic, old-world Florentine elegance that makes you feel as though you’re stepping into another era. It’s not just somewhere to stay, it’s an experience in itself.
The location is fantastic, too. Looking out of the windows and onto the beautiful historic streets and traditional market below, surrounded by Florence’s incredible architecture, was such a treat. You really feel immersed in the heart and soul of this beautiful city.
And then there’s Lorenzo, who truly deserves every bit of praise a Superhost can receive. His communication was exceptional throughout. He was always responsive, incredibly helpful and full of wonderful suggestions for things to see and do in Florence. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and knowing he was there if we needed anything made our stay even more enjoyable.
The thoughtful little touches made it all the more special. Arriving to find fresh flowers and a lovely bottle of Chianti waiting for us was such a welcoming gesture. Lorenzo also kindly allowed us an extra hour in the apartment on our departure day, which was hugely appreciated and made our final morning so much more relaxed.
It’s clear that Lorenzo genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to have the best possible experience. His hospitality, combined with the apartment’s unique beauty and fantastic location, made our stay in Florence truly memorable.
One little idea, purely as a suggestion, would be to have a guest book in the apartment. It would be lovely for future guests to leave a few thoughts about their stay, share their favourite discoveries in Florence and pass on recommendations to fellow travellers.

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and right in the heart of Florence. It is thoughtfully decorated, full of character, and feels genuinely authentic to the city. Even being right in the heart of Florence, the apartment was a peaceful and welcoming place to come home to. The host Lorenzo’s hospitality made the stay even more special. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much he cared that we felt at home and enjoyed our time in Florence. His warmth, local recommendations, and generosity were completely genuine. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or a more gracious host.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Florence!
Lorenzo was a wonderful host. He met us on arrival, showed us around the apartment and explained all the facilities. He also provided a handy map with recommendations for places to eat, supermarkets and other useful locations. The chilled bottle of water and bottle of Chianti were such thoughtful touches.
The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with fantastic facilities and the added convenience of a lift. The location was excellent – everything we wanted to visit was within around a 15-minute walk. One of my favourite things was sitting on the balcony with a coffee or gelato, watching the world go by.
The market could be noisy late at night and in the morning, but Lorenzo thoughtfully provided earplugs, which were much appreciated. The mattress was very firm, which suited me well, although this may be useful for other guests to know.
My parents loved the apartment too, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend it. Thank you, Lorenzo, for making us feel so welcome!
