We called the host and they met us and took us around the apartment. The apartment was 100 times nicer than the photos and had obviously been recently redone, it was lovely, spacious with superb views.
The kitchen was only very basically equipped, it would have been great if there was a coffee machine, bottle opener and kitchen knives, but otherwise it was great. There was air con in the living room but not the bedroom. The apartment is 500 steps from the Old Town which keeps you fit!

Excellent views of the city with good balcony
Comfortable rooms and good size living room
Could have done with some provisions- eg shower gel in the bathrooms
It was hard to find the exact apartment and when we arrived it was very difficult to make contact with the hosts, despite having had a late check in approved
I tried phoning booking.com but could only get through to AI and the told it would take me half an hour to get to a real agent
When we made contact with the hosts they claimed they did not have our booking and that we had gone to the wrong place
Eventually the allowed us to stay in an apartment but the situation was avoidable since I had everything confirmed and was at the correct address booking.com gave me

The view was stunning. Close to everything to everything we wanted just so many stairs to walk up which was a mission everyday but we made the trip.
The stairs, not enough toilet paper provided and no window in the bathroom.
