Great Hotel but having problems with double charge/payments after leaving.

Hotel was very good. On beach, close to main street with lots or bars and restaurants and shops. Pool was good but a bit cold. The rooms were very comfortable and staff were accomodating.

After we had paid in full and left hotel I discovered the hotel had placed an unauthorized $1,757.20 charge on my credit card that I am at present trying to get refunded.

O hotel é lindo, o café da manhã é muito bom, o quarto muito confortável, as amenidades são de qualidade. Não frequentei a academia, mas me pareceu muito boa, e a área kids é super completa.

As piscinas são lindas, mas a água é muito fria. A temperatura da água não era nada convidativa. Não faz sentido que as piscinas, que são o charme do hotel, não contem com aquecimento. O esquema de luz do quarto procura ser "moderninho", mas podia ser mais funcional. Não é possível, por exemplo, acender apenas a luz do chuveiro ou da privada. Para isso tem que acender toda a área do banheiro, o que acaba iluminando o quarto inteiro (já que o banheiro é conceito aberto).

Pleasant stay overall

Easy walkable location. Lots of nice restaurants, shopping etc withing walking distance. Our club lounge host Andrea was absolutely Amazing!!! So attentive & helpful.

Beach was rocky once u enter. Hotel food was not great. Had to pay for exercise activities despite paying for a suite. Had to pay for a pool cabana despite paying for a suite.

Food and beverages are a little bit expensive for what you receive, beach was very damaged but the color of water worth it

Nice stay for 1 night

Nice hotel and a good location for Playa del Carmen. The room was nice as well.

It's not so much my style of Hotel which is just my personal taste. But for a stay in that area, I can recommend it.

luxurious property, service leaves something to be desired.

clean, modern - nice amenities, the pool and poolside service were great. right on downtown and 5th avenue for food/drinks/shopping

They closed 90% of the pool seating with just a day’s notice, for a wedding. that’s fine, but if i knew in advance, we would have done our tulum trip that day instead. i tried to get info about daytrips before checkin. they told me 3 times that their tour partner would reach out and they never did.

Poor training on staff, good facilities, hotel below average when compared to other similar chain.

Staff at the Hyatt Club was helpful and and well trained.

At the Restauran La Cocina, waiters are more focused on finding out how much tip did you leave on the check, they are not focused or well trained, food was served and no silverware, waiter vanished....Extra bed with no sheets, Plunge pool with sand and debris. In general there is no sense of ownership of the hotel staff, poor training. Not worth the money. Food is bland, and a simple burger was sent raw to our room service when ordered medium well.

our room was damp and wet. damp bedding. Damp clothes, no slippers. floor had puddles of water. Pool too crowded. expensive food and drinks! we checked out after 1 night

great, but change the lightning system

the lights in the executive suite were hell to understand ! I will not have this suite again just because of the light system. being waken up in the middle of the night because you try to turn on the lights in the bathroom and all of a sudden ALL THE GODDAMN lights turn on and you have no clue on how to turn them off is a nightmare. it truly is hell
