Nice hotel, friendly, efficient service.
Particularly impressed by the EV charging: AC chargers with no faffing, you can just plug it in when you arrive and leave with the car full the next day with no extra charges or messing around with apps and authentication things.

The location was easy to get to from the train station by walking. Also it was close to many eating places and for site-seeing Niigata.

Staff and room. Sake tasting.
Hotel unable to get a taxi on departure so had to walk to station with luggage in pouring rain.

Excellent reception staff who came up to greet us once we entered the hotel, and also guiding us to lifts/doors. Great breakfast spread as well, tasty coffee and was delighted to have some made to order specialty dishes.
Bathroom was a bit dim, perhaps they should have used brighter/warmer lighting at the mirror side as there is no direct light above the bathtub/shower area.
Wash basin drains a bit slowly (perhaps slightly clogged).
The lifts were not secured with room key (can just go to any guest floor).
