Het huis ligt boven op de berg met een prachtig uitzicht. Rust, ruimte en stilte overheersen. De geluiden van de natuur is alles wat je hoort. Heerlijk!
In huis was alles aanwezig, ruim ingedeeld, heerlijke douche, fijne keuken. Buiten genoten we van de stoelen en de bbq. Alles was tip top verzorgd
Helaas was het zwembad nog niet klaar voor gebruik, maar we waren er eind april/begin mei, dus duidelijk nog geen hoogseizoen. Dat was het enige gemis, aangezien we giga mazzel hadden met hoge temperaturen.

A family of 4 - 8 night stay in the maisonette, Il Metato, July 2019.
This is a beautiful and quiet place - up in the mountains with a beautiful view from the house of the mountains. There is a small terrace from where you can enjoy your meals or just relax in the sun chair. The house is pretty private. 100 meters up the hill the other house (with 3 apartments) lies (and further up lies the pool, a small 1-2 minute ascend to the pool)
The house had all we needed. Upstairs a bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one with a larger bed for 2 adults and another with a smaller bed for our 2 children. They were 10 and 13 years old and that was a tight fit :)
Downstairs another bathroom and a kitchen/livingroom with exit to the terrasse. We did not use the kitchen that much for cooking, but it had kitchen remedies to use.
The pool was just like we hoped it would be. Good size and clean. Same depth everywhere in the pool, around 145 cm. Beautiful view from the pool also. Even though 3 other families were at the pool at the same time (did not happen that much actually) there were sun chairs and room for everyone.
La Pozza is up in the mountain, so be prepared to drive 15-20 minutes to get down to Gallicano for example (where we shopped in the Conad supermarket) - it was not a problem for us, but maybe nice to know.
The place is well kept, Saturday morning there were someone mowing the grass hill. That made some noise for some hours, but not a problem for us. It looked great afterwards :)
The only negative thing to mention was the wifi in the maisonette. It worked 2% of the time during our stay. It worked perfect at the pool area, so it was not a major problem but it needs to be mentioned.
All in all a perfect stay for us. Also a good spot for visiting sites in Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Barga, Grotto del vento, Selva del Buffardello Adventure Park etc.)
We would definitely come back again another time.

Breathtaking views and nature around definitely require mention. Lovely pool (if weather is hot enough).
Big house can be booked only for a week at least and meanwhile host is not providing needed supplements for confort stay (like dishwasher machine tablets, soap, toilet paper etc). Other big issue - water pressure is so low in the bathroom so taking a shower is a pain.
House counts on 3-5 people to stay and has only small coach in hall - other need to sit on awful chairs.
