Located in Chincoteague Island, this attractive house for $140 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Beck’s Corner is as cute as it can be! This charming home offers 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, large yard, central air conditioning, and sleeps up 5 – 6 people with 1 Queen, 1 double (hide-a-bed), and 1 Twin (Rollaway) Bed, and is pet friendly. Located within just a few minutes walk to the Veteran’s Memorial Park which has tennis & basketball courts, pavilion, playground, fishing dock, boat launching area, and is the perfect spot for viewing of the Pony Swim in July. Upon entering the home you will be greeted by a spacious living room, kitchen, and a sunroom in addition to the 1 bedroom and 1 full bath. The large yard offers plenty of space for outdoor play and picnics. We invite you to catch up on some much needed rest &relaxation, and to take time to breathe in the salt air breezes. This home has a NO SMOKING policy. We ask that you leave the home in a neat and tidy condition. 2 Dogs are allowed, with a weight limit per dog of 80 pounds. There is $135 added to the base rental rate per pet and is not refundable. Amenities Include: Pet Friendly (limit of 2 dogs with weight limit not to exceed 80 pounds), Central A/C, Refrigerator, stove/oven, Microwave, Washer/Dryer, Cable TV, 1 TV (living room), Coffee Pot, toaster, Pots and Pans, Dishes, Glasses, Utensils

The house was perfectly centralized to the town and the beach. It was the Goldie locks perfect fit for us. Huge yard I wish we could have better taken advantage of. Visited family in Tom’s Cove and it was around the corner. It was incredibly clean when we got there, huge bonus points for us. Having a washer and drier was a life saver. Glad we chose this cute little house. There wasn’t a house number so it did make it hard to find, as we arrived at night. There was the property rental sign in the yard that told us we were in the right spot.

It was just the right size for us, like the updates in the bathroom and the kitchen. I realize you tried to keep it to the original house but I think some more updates would be nice. The location was great to get to everything. We had trouble getting the keys to work in the locks and had to travel back to the office to get assistance with this because we didn't want to break the key off. Updated locks would be great. The floors needed swept when we arrived, we could feel and see dirt on them when we walked around. The fridge smelled really bad of fish, I understand alot of fishing happens on the island, but maybe a small fridge for just fish. We went to use the microwave and it looked like grass or something in it. I don't like to complain or let a bad review but I feel I needed to address these issues. These are just things you don't want to deal with on vacation. We probably won't book again.

Very clean, cute place to stay. Nice big yard, you can walk to the park and the dock from this location. Everything worked in the house, didn't even have to contact anyone about anything. Made lots of family memories.

This was our 40th Anniversary and we decided to go to Chincoteague Island. It was a last min decision, and found this property was in the location we desired. It is an older home, but was very clean and a nice kitchen and bath. Very comfortable reclining couch after a day of exploring. The mattress on the bed is a little uncomfortable. But overall, we would rent this house again. Loved the big corner lot, dog friendly and walking distance to the Channel. We loved the town and ate seafood every night! Took a boat tour and got amazing pictures of ponies in front of the light house. Just a perfect vacation! Would love to come back to Beck's Corner!! Thank you Debbie

We enjoyed our stay at Beck’s corner. It was a good location for us as it was within walking distance to where our relatives were staying. I like that it is pet friendly. The place could use a little updating but over all it was clean and comfortable.

Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed the location, the size, the new kitchen, just everything. Kids really want to go back, like yesterday. Would definitely look into staying here again.

Me, my partner, and our dog enjoyed a long weekend at Beck’s Corner. The large yard was especially nice for our dog, Albus, but unfortunately the yard had random patches of grass with very sharp burrs in it. These burrs are hard to see in the grass until you step on them, and they are incredibly sharp and painful - something to note if you have dogs or children. Be prepared to bring an internet puck or use your phone’s hot spot if you want to use the internet - we were surprised to find the cottage did not have Wifi until we read one of the reviews after arrival. However, the cottage has a nice TV with several channels. Besides the burrs and lack of Wifi, Beck’s Corner was a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay again!

Overall, Beck's Corner was worth the price and we'd probably stay again. The location was out of the way and a bit of a drive to the downtown or the beach but makes up for it with a large lot and very quiet evenings. We probably should have read the description better but the lack of wi-fi was a bit of a surprise, as were cobwebs in the bedroom. The only other minor improvement would be some extra lighting in the bathroom, the shower is very dark. Again, worth the price and no major issues at all.

we had a great time!!!The house was perfect. We saw deer in the yard. It was very quiet but we were close to everything. We went shark fishing and caught a 30 pounder. Then we kept fishing and hooked onto another shark and fought it with the captain for 2 1/2 hours. It broke the line. The beach was awsome with 10 waves. We will go again next year. The ponies were amazing..

Great place to stay for a quick trip to Chincoteague for me and my dog! Quick access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Becky's Place is the perfect size for a small family. The kitchen has been nicely updated and the yard is huge with some visiting wildlife in the early morning and evening. My stay included the best beach days ever!

The house is easy to find, and the walkway with front door beautiful. The Side of house is practical easy to use....however could use a outdoor light for coming into property. The tree line/wetlands boundary......lovely to see all the Deer!

My husband, Rollo (60lb terrier) and I stayed at Aunt Beck's house and had a relaxing week's vacation. We got to experience the ponies, dolphins and enjoyed the mid- Sept. weather. We rented Capt Pete's charter fishing and Capt. Jed and First Mate, Dick, gave us an amazing 4 hour fishing experience. The property and location were perfect and the washer and dryer a plus. Be mindful bringing your pooch, the island does not have a lot of dog friendly locations. Find Hallie Whealton Smith Dr. in the beginning of the trip. The grass all over the area has burrs that get stuck to their paws or your feet in flip flops. Deb, the Manager, answered the phone every call and was friendly and helpful throughout. Easy in/out process. Highly recommend Back's Corner and Eastern Shores.

The neighborhood is quiet and serene. The furnishing were reasonable. A few items that would be useful include racks or hooks in the bathroom in order to hang towels, and fixing the latch to the bathroom door. A clothes line outdoors for hanging beach towels would be helpful as well. All in all we were glad that we stayed at Beck's Corner.

The property is not very big but was just big enough for my family of 4. The house was a little dated and had just enough dishes to make meals. There is a picnic bench but no grill which would have been nice. My only complaint was that the outside light did not work on the side of the house and there were several bulbs blown out within the house. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This property was a great size for us traveling as a couple with one child and a dog. We appreciate its well-maintained historic feel, its large property where our dog could fetch the frisbee, and that it’s just a two-minute stroll to a bayside playground. We also appreciated the outdoor hose for washing off from the beach and the sunny front “mudroom” with washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything we needed for take-out dinners and simple breakfasts and lunches. Thank you!

We enjoyed the large yard, which was perfect for a game of bocce. The outside hose was a lifesaver for rinsing off sandy toys and chairs. The kitchen and living room were a nice size. The bedroom was a bit over crowded due to several large furniture pieces. There was a very basic but adequate availability of cookware and utensils. The washer and dryer were a big plus! Hauling home a bunch of dirty laundry is no fun. We enjoyed reading about the history of the home and tried to envision it in its original state. We were super curious about the locked door in the bathroom. That appeared to go up to a second floor. We also made it a point to pay our respects to the Andrews in the neighboring cemetary. Overall great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable Becks corner cottage, it fully filled our needs and a very convenient location , and loved the open acreage surrounding the cottage, the children had a lovely time exploring the bay
