The place is sooo cool! I loved the set up with the loungers and access to the ocean. There was also water toys (paddle board/ boogie board/ snorkels) which were a bonus!
The access may be a bit challenging for some people- however once you are there it is worthwhile!

The views are amazing. The beach is at your feet and quiet. Almost like having a private beach. The difference between low and high tide is quite extreme (nothing to do with the hotel), bit it allows you to swim (or walk) in the shallow waters in front. The breakfast is simple, but sufficient. Dinner and lunch dito. Staying there for a longer period, might get boring re the menu options.
As expected on the cliffs around Uluwatu, the stairs are horrid. Once in the resort, you don't feel the need to go out. Again, nothing to do with the hotel, but just be aware that it can be a steep climb.

Amazing little room with beautiful ocean views, spent a good few hours on our balcony watching the world go by. Nice and quiet at night, lovely little escape.

Amazing view from my room, stunning location, perfect for surfers
Very difficult and inconvenient to get to, felt quite isolated from the rest of Uluwatu. no kettle or tea/ coffee in the room, no TV, bathroom has a weird smell. Pool was not a pool. Lack of sun loungers. The beach is not a beach, barely any sand and lots of rocks. tide comes up too high and not safe for swimming. Wouldn’t recommend for kids.
