Comfortable cottage to stay in - had all the amenities we needed for our 2 nights stay in Martinborough. The beds were very comfortable and the linen top notch ! The only suggestion was perhaps topping your trees so you could enjoy the evening sun on the veranda

Very comfy and well situated cottage for a quiet time away. Just out of town, but walk in for your morning coffee. The log fire is very efficient, just takes a couple of hours to ge the place cosy and then it's perfect,

Very cute cottage with good amenities and kitchen was well equipped.BBQ bottle was empty, luckily family living close by went and got his gas bottle. Overall a lovely stay.

Lovely cottage but on a surprising busy and noisy road (big trucks and farm equipment). No Wi-Fi and only basic TV and DVD player but no DVDs supplied so as we had a wet 6 days there we luckily took plenty of books and we were close to wineries which we enjoyed going to. Overall very clean and cosy cottage and good for 3 people.

For us an ideal place. Instructions for getting tv to work would be helpful though. We were there solely to sleep. Very comfortable beds.

Cute and functional , takes me back to the 70s . A little musty but no worries . Fire worked well and a wine helped the settling in process . Across the road at the winery they have a generator that woke us at 5.00 am on Saturday and Sunday not sure if its a regular feature but we are early risers anyway .

It was a great stay! Such a lovely cottage. The fireplace was all set up for us to light, with plenty of wood available. Walking distance from the main square and just a really nice stay!

We arrived in the rain and dark and with no outside light were fumbling at the front door trying to get in, we were not told that there is an alarm that needs disarming and once inside couldn't find the light switch let alone how to turn the alarm off. Eventually the alarm turned off and we found the code. I tried to contact the number we were given however that person did not reply until after we left on the Sunday saying they had tried to email back by email but their emails bounced back despite I did give them my cell number. The back bedroom smelled musty. We couldn't get the TV working at all , there was no instruction book and and even googling the TV brand we were unable to watch it. I tried to contact the contact person about this at the time but to no avail either . This aside we thought the house was lovely and the touches were nice. I wouldn't stay there again due to the above issues we had . We didn't realise too that there would be no internet or ability to watch TV . ( That was our fault for not reading the fine print properly ). Overall rather disappointing .

Immaculately clean. The owners have great taste, and the property is minutes walking distance from the square and majority of vinyards. An excellent find. :-)

We really enjoyed staying in Burgundy Cottage. It was a cosy and relaxing space and close enough to walk to the square and vineyards. Would stay again.

Beautiful home in a lovely setting. Property was decorated and presented really nicely.Unfortunately there were a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The lightbulb in the living room needed replacing, the jug in the kitchen didn't work, the shower drain was blocked, the bathroom sink didn't drain adequately and there was an ant infestation which had a strong unpleasant odour associated.We had a lovely weekend but these factors did impact our stay. The good news is that they are all easily rectified and I'm sure that others will have a lovely time at Burgundy Cottage in the future.

A well-situated house, next to and opposite vineyards, with good kitchen facilities and a shower and bath. (NB The loo is inside the bathroom.) A short walk into the main square and cafes and restaurants.
