We loved our night at the railway cottage. Unbeatable location about 3 minute walk to the square, lovely house with three bedrooms and cozy lounge, nice deck looking out onto a big backyard with fruit trees. No complaints, everything was great :)

Could not rate this stay any more highly. Cheryl was extremely accomodating in some requests we had leading up to our stay, and the house itself is a gorgeous and spacious property. Super close proximity to the Square as well. Stayed in Martinborough a few times, and this by far was the best experience.

This was our first rental outside the US. We went to NZ for the Women's FIFA cup and didnt want to stay in Wellington and deal with the masses. This place delivered. The ability to heat the bed before you got in was amazing! The property is well maintained and spacious. Unfortunately, we tripped the breaker shortly after arriving but the owner responded right away to text. Railway cottage is the perfect little get away! Centralized to the downtown square, very easily walkable or a short drive to nearby quaint cities. The mountain pass is a cliff hanger but gives you access to areas that provide rail access.

You can’t alway say a holiday home is comfortable but this place is fantastic- warm, clean, amazing location, and comfy beds and living space. After a long day experiencing good food, wine and shopping it was just like coming home. We stayed in winter, and would love to come back in summer to utilise the great outdoor space in the sun. Beautiful cottage. Very clean and tidy, walking distance to Martinbourgh main shops and cafes. Grounds are beautiful and would be a great place to stay in the summer months as well. Great communication with the host, Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay with everything you need, lots of DVDs to chose from in the evenings for your personal wine tastings session purchased during the day. Right around the corner is the bike hire place (1min walk) so we used the 2 x bikes in the shed and hired 1 additional for our group - the hosts let us pick the bikes up early which was very nice. Plenty of parking, great communication.

Railway Cottage was clean, comfortable, full of charm and in a perfect location. Easy walk in to the town centre, shops and restaurants. The bikes were a great bonus for getting to the wineries. Checkin was seamless and communication with Cheryl was easy and Cheryl responded quickly.

Comfortable cosy clean and well appointed we found Railway Cottage perfect for our 5-day stay in Martinborough. Conveniently situated just a quick walk from the pretty town square. Highly recommended.

All three us enjoyed our stay at this property, located within walking distance of Martinborough's centre. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Keypad access was easy. There were a few maintenance issues.

We loved our short stay here! The cottage is beautiful and in a great location. We loved the outdoor area with the heater as we were there in very rainy weather. It was so lovely to be able to sit outside with a wine / coffee. Cheryl was fantastic and was so helpful when our plans changed at the last minute! We will definitely be back for a longer stay soon :)

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The host was easy to communicate with and the location was only a few minutes walk to local restaurants, bars, cafes etc. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

Location is excellent but we were really disappointed on the overall cleanliness and condition of the property. Better quality linen and pillows would help. But it needs a thorough clean out, spider webs, windows had mould on the inside, layers of dirty dust on the skirting boards and peeling paint in the bathroom. Also the grounds need attention. And please get rid of the outside couch it is filthy and something you would see in a student flat.

The Railway Cottage was a wonderful cottage for our sister's get together. Clean, tidy and the best appointed Kitchen and Bathroom I think I have ever stayed in. Both the back deck and the Lounge where wonderful for seating, relaxing, eating, drinking fine wine and catching up. Chelsea was a wonderful host, very easy to work with. My sisters and I would definitely stay here again, Highly recommended!

Amazing stay we loved it and would stay again. Don’t want sound like moaner as would definitely come again but outside of house could do with a good clean down which obviously not been done for years and the front gardens tidied and hedges clipped. Not a deal breaker but needs to be done.

Cheryl was so obliging. We had a wedding to attend and needed to check in earlier to get ready. It is a wonderful place to stay and walking distance to town. Quiet street and neighborhood.

Great communication with simple instructions, and the house is gorgeous. Beds very comfortable and all is well appointed including bathroom, kitchen and heating. A close walk to the main square. Pretty garden.
