Brilliant location in a lovely city. Lovely old-fashioned building very spacious accommodation shared bathroom a little bit of a drag, but that was very much covered by very good value offered overall. Not a staffed accommodation but the telephone support which we had to ask for very late on the evening of arrival was faultless.

Good accomodation in a great location in the city centre. Easy to get public transport, attractions, walking around or a supermarket, shops. Clean and large room, as the bathroom. Check in easily done calling the manager giving you the instructions about key and stuff. Worth for a short stay in a great location.

Great location, Lovley room and bathroom. Close to all the main attractions in Trieste.
We visited in September and the apartment was very warm, windows were broken so duct taped up so they couldn’t open. Communication with host was very difficult - phone number provided didnt work/ wouldn’t respond to our messages.

Spacious room, excellent location. Good for budget travellers.
Amenities listed not in room, for example there was no fan, no TV or tea and coffee making facilities. There was a half drank bottle of corona in our fridge. The host was very rude on the phone. We showed up at 12:30 in the day as we had already informed him that we would. We entered the building and it was very dark with no signs or instructions where to go. We had to carry our bags to the third floor. There is a very small lift but it is not possible to know the floor ahead of time. Needless to say, not accessible. We asked if we could leave our bags in the room. The host told us no way. We came back at 15:30 and the host automatically buzzed us in to the guest house which has a lobby area perfect for storing bags. The host was very rude and passive aggressive over the phone. He asked to have a photo of my passport sent on WhatsApp and to leave the tourist tax in cash. He did not even view the WhatsApp message. He was sighing and speaking to me like I was stupid for asking which room number I was in as he wasn’t finished asking me to close the door I had already told him was shut.
