Toñi fue maravillosa. Los desayunos fueron exquisitos, y ella fue muy amable todo el tiempo. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y el ventilador era eficaz y muy silencioso. Las camas muy cómodas. Se durmio muy bien. Fue el mejor alojamiento de nuestro viaje a Costa Rica. MUCHAS GRACIAS, TOÑI!!!

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Great to have a terrace. Walking distance to a few nice restaurants (although bring a torch for the lane). Strong fan and hot water. Cold water dispenser in the reception.
Unfortunately both days of my stay I arrived back in the afternoon to find no water in my room. This was due to construction work. Both times it was turned back on within around 20mins of me complaining. However, not ideal when you've got back from the beach and want a shower. Guests could at least be advised when the work is happening so they can plan their day accordingly.
There was also a terrible smell in the bathroom. I assume coming from the drains. One day it was so strong it felt like you could taste it.
As others have noted there is no glass or netting on the windows, so you have to keep the shutters closed which is a shame as you get no natural light. But as there's no mosquito net over the bed you really want to avoid letting any in.
Given the price is similar to some of the nearby resorts I don't feel it's good value for what it is. Especially if there's no guarantee you'll have water when you arrive back.
