Situated in Fredericksburg, this lovely cottage for $176 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Freshly built, Outlot 201 Guest Houses offer relaxing hill country views less than five minutes from Fredericksburg's historic Main Street. Nestled in a grove of trees, the guest houses are the perfect place to retreat in a refined, yet relaxed, setting. Pfiester House at Outlot 201 (unit 2) features one bedroom with a comfy, king size pencil post bed with luxury linens and plenty of pillows. The bedroom is also equipped with a DOHM White Noise Machine, for those who are serious about their sleep! The bathroom is spacious and brightly lit, with a double vanity, beautiful soaking tub and spacious shower. The bath includes a toilet closet for additional privacy. You’ll find the separate living area (with queen sleeper sofa) a comfortable place to relax, with a flat screen television and free flowing Wi-Fi. The area also includes a small dining table and well-equipped (armoire) butler's pantry, with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and electric tea kettle, as well as a coffee maker to brew locally roasted coffees from our friends at Ranch Road Roasters. Upon arrival, your pantry will be stocked with house made banana nut bread as well as yummy granola, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juice and bottled water. You'll also find plenty of coffee and tea on hand. Out the back door, you'll find a spacious outdoor living space overlooking the pasture, with our horse and sheep grazing in the distance. The patio offers a relaxing outdoor shower and (easy to use) clean-burning firepit. Pfiester House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including Paya toiletries, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. If you're interested in booking more than one house and would like to expedite the booking process, please feel free to contact the owner directly so we can block the houses for you and arrange for one payment to save you time. Small, non-shedding dogs (one per stay) will be considered. If approved, there will be a $150 pet fee. Please see complete pet policy in rental agreement. And lastly, Outlot 201 is a NON-SMOKING property and we very much appreciate your support of our commitment to a smoke-free environment for our guests. My husband and I stayed at this property in October of 2020, and we couldn't wait to return, so we booked another trip to Fredericksburg this past weekend (1/5/23 -1/7/23). This time was just as wonderful as the previous, and we plan on returning in the near future! The accommodations are extremely clean and modern, with a touch of Fredericksburg charm. Additionally, main street is about a 5-minute drive from the property, and Enchanted Rock is about a 30-minute drive. Both are definitely doable during a weekend trip and make for an exciting time. I reached out to the host Darla during our stay, and she was very thorough and responsive with her reply. This is much appreciated, and it apparent that the hosts Darla and Mike take a lot of pride in their properties and want their guests to be comfortable. I highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Fredericksburg! We can't wait to return! Thank you so much!

Best thing was how clear it was that the hosts really wanted you to enjoy your stay. Felt very welcome. Great communication, super clean and cute, quick and easy drive to town. The breakfast treats and coffee were so appreciated!

Everything went great. Just a few recommendations. It would be nice to have a tv in the bedroom and also a few available plugs in the bedroom to charge your cell phones. We enjoyed having coffee in the room with the fresh banana bread and yogurt. Great communication and did really appreciate how clean it is.

Property was lovely. Very clean and well maintained inside and out. Lots of natural lighting. The furnishings, decorations and bathroom were very nicely done. Farmhouse chic. The view of the farm animals and the fire pit at the back of the property were wonderfully relaxing. Stargazing was nice too. Did not want to leave. Great parking location. Quiet. Coffee maker with coffee and cream supplied. Small refrigerator. Only issue for us was the bed was too firm for us but not a deal breaker.

These might be the most precious houses in Fredericksburg! The property was beautiful. The home decorated so cute & very well kept! We loved using the fire pit in the evenings. The bed was comfortable. I loved the kitchenette. The host was gracious enough to leave us homemade banana bread & granola in the fridge, along with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, milk & water. We enjoyed our stay so much & will be back, for sure!

The location and charm of this property was perfect. My only regret is that I did not pay attention to how small it was. I thought I was getting the bigger unit however, it was just a beautiful place though. It does sleep four but does not really accommodate 4 people. Other than that it was perfect.

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, quiet, and not too far from town. We could do all the daytime activities in town, and after dinner, arrive back to the farmhouse and sit outside (around the fire pit if you choose) and enjoy the quiet, peaceful property surrounding us. Thank you for the breakfast goodies available in the refrigerator (banana nut bread was exceptional)! I highly recommend this lodging in Fredericksburg!

We do a lot of traveling across our home state of Texas and across the US for both fun and business. We enjoy the experience of discovering new boutique hotels in the major cities and the comfort of cottage rentals in the small towns. This property is amazing! We loved the feel of the entire place from the large shower to the farm house style bathtub and the king size bed. We also took advantage of the private fire pit for our morning coffee and banana bread (provided by our property host) and later that evening for a glass of wine. Parking is great and the property is minutes from HEB and Main. We will stay here without a doubt moving forward.

We don't live too far from Fredericksburg, and wanted to hit the pause button for a quick weekend out of the city. Outlot 201 was so quiet and peaceful! We truly didn't even know there were other guests in the neighboring houses. The sunset views of the pasture are better than the listing shows. Loved our private outdoor seating area, and the banana bread Darla baked for us is hands-down the best we've ever had. We want more banana bread!

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at Outlot 201; and it has been consistently outstanding each time. We enjoy the peaceful rural feel yet close enough to town to enjoy all Fredericksburg has to offer. The owners are close by for any questions, but respectful of privacy. From the welcoming banana bread to all the necessities, it’s the perfect place for us.
