Our stay at Aura Marina was amazing! The location was perfect, with a beautiful view that made the experience even more special. George, the host, was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and always happy to assist. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Aura Marina to others! ❤️

The host was amazing and the property was very nice. We booked every activity through them and it was very easy and cheap.
It was a bit far from most things, but if you have a car or want to take a taxi it is amazing.

The apartment is great for a family, with its wonderful view and traditional decoration inside. The pool was cleaned every day, and it was a nice, relaxing area. George is a very good host, making sure everything is fine and giving good suggestions about restaurants and places to visit
The bed mattress needs to be changed, and a renovation would be nice, especially in the bathroom. Although it was mentioned that there was no cleaning service for the 3 nights we stayed, as a family, we would definitely appreciate at least some basic service.

Only the view
We recently stayed at this villa in Santorini and, while there were some positives, overall we felt the property was overpriced for what was provided.
The view was absolutely beautiful and probably the best thing about the stay. However, the location was not very convenient. Public transport is difficult to access, and in our opinion, a car is essential if you stay here, especially when travelling with children.
For a longer stay, particularly for a family with kids, we expected some basic facilities that were missing. There was no washing machine or dishwasher, no proper cooker, and not enough cooking pots and utensils to comfortably prepare meals. These are basic facilities we would expect when booking a villa for a longer stay.
The bedroom also had very limited storage space, which made it difficult to organise our belongings. There was also a narrow/low section of the wall that we repeatedly hit our heads on when moving around the room, which was quite uncomfortable.
We were surprised that the duvet was provided without a duvet cover, and we were unsure how frequently it was cleaned or changed between guests.
The bathrooms are quite outdated and could really benefit from renovation. We also did not realise before arriving that the property uses salt water from the taps, so the tap water is not fresh water. Basic kitchen items such as salt, sugar and kitchen paper were also not provided.
What made the price particularly disappointing was that a friend of ours was staying in a two-bedroom apartment elsewhere in Santorini for less money than we paid, and their stay even included a car as well as airport pick-up and drop-off. Comparing the two experiences, we felt that this property did not offer good value for the amount we paid.
The property has great potential because of the fantastic view, but considering the price, we expected much better facilities, comfort and overall value.
