It is the most delightful spot away from any crowds in a small bay with a few local restaurants and a pier where you can take a boat to further flung beaches. There is direct access to the beach (rocky so take shoes) but clear water and beach beds for hotel use. It’s has a makeover so if you look on google don’t be fooled. It’s tasteful with the rooms having their own terraces and Aircon. The terrace above the beach has ample shade and is stylishly done. From room to beach it’s barely a minute. The breakfast is decent and the lunchtime salads etc delicious. Simple but fresh and tasty. The staff are all delightful. It’s a family run business and they couldn’t be nicer and their room maids and servers are equally cheery and welcoming. This was our first visit to Santorini on our way to a remote island and it was the perfect place to land. The local archeological site was also fascinating and two minutes from the hotel. It might not be a 5star Aman experience but it ticked all boxes and more as it was personal and friendly and very affordable for what they offered.

i liked everything about the property. the view is amazing -i guess from all rooms you can see the view-, the breakfast is more than delicious, the rooms were perfectly clean, and the staff is amazingly nice! i would recommend everyone to wake up early, open the windows and doors, and just let the air and sounds from the sea in.
nothing, i'd book it again if i am back in akrotiri.

Location of the hotel was absolutely brilliant, great location.
The staff was so so incredibly friendly, kind and professional.
The view from the balcony was breathtaking.
Breakfast was ok, very simple
Room was disappointingly small, the bathroom and toilet was extremely small to take a relaxation shower or toilet break.
There was a few problems with our room including a broken chair and broken door handle to enter the balcony/ terrace.
There was one incident that scared my wife and i a lot, whenever you close the main room door it must be firmly pulled to close and lock, so one say when we got back from a full day out our room was WIDE open as the cleaners did not close the room door correctly, this only happened once in our 8 day stay
